We were there from June 8-June 13. We, or I, as DH will tell you made the mistake of booking the cheap early flight. We had to get out of bed at 3am to make the 3:30 bellhop and 4am Magical Express for a 6:45am flight. Won't do that again.

Stayed at CBR. For our honeymoon, I was expecting at least a bathtub. We had a view of the smoker's seating area and a shower stall. We were on the first floor, so I'm assuming because it's handicap accessible that's why there was no tub. Who knows. We did get the king size bed as I requested. Martinique was the island we stayed in, building 26 to be more specific. It was a great location to Old Port Royale. The only place to eat and shop. Trinidiad South is the next closest, but still a bit further. The housekeeping did an excellent job, we never needed to call for extra towels or toilet paper. We won't be staying here again for a couple of reasons: 1) we want to stay other places; 2) it wasn't a great first impression, they knew we were on a honeymoon, and the best that could be done was a king sized bed; 3) the walls were thin and the kids next door were loud at midnight when we were trying to go to bed.

We visited the Polynesian and want to stay there next trip.

On with the food:
Mama Melrose (MGM)- decent food, the service was a little sparse, but the restaurant was busy, they didn't acknowledge our honeymoon at all.

Le Cellier (Canada- Epcot)- great food, great service, will definitely go again. I had inquired to the hostess about the Magical Wishes buttons/pins some bride and grooms were wearing. During our dinner, without our knowledge, hte hostess ran up to the front of Epcot to guest services to get us 2 buttons and a certificate, then she got the hostesses to sign it. We had set it on top of the table so it wouldn't get bent in our bag. Our server, Amanda, saw it and said that she was working on one in the back. She offered me the second one, but DH said to take the one we had and Amanda got the waitstaff and cooks to sign that one. We got our meal plan desserts AND the honeymoon dessert.

Cinderella's Royal Table (The castle)- Food- C-; Atmosphere- B; Staff- oogie
For taking up two meal nights on the DDP the food should have been astounding- it wasn't. The atmosphere was great, the Fairy Godmother came out and two mice as well. We were sat by the window with a view of the carousel- this was good! The staff just creeped me and DH out. Maybe it was that everyone was called My Lord and My Lady, or that they were older men, and not younger people...who knows. On top of the picture with Cindy, and a lithograph of the castle, we also got complimentary champagne glasses. I think you should do it if someone really wants to eat in the castle, but don't look for a quiet romantic experience.

Mitsukoshi (Japan- Epcot)- I don't think I spelled it correctly. The service was great, we went on the sushi/tempura side and had no wait or reservations. We opted to eat here b/c Cindy's took 2 meal nights, we cancelled our 1900 Park Fare reservations. The food was good, but not enough. I was hungry about 2 hrs. later. Unless you're and adventerous eater, you'll leave hungry.

O'hana (Polynesian)- This place was so fun. When we walked in, the kids were sweeping coconuts across the floor. It's a fun, loud, family place. A Polynesian buffet, consisting of chicken wings, shrimp, wonton with dipping sauces (the peanut is yummy), salad, turkey, beef, pork, sausage, bananas foster. Our waiter acknowledged our honeymoon and we were seated with a window view of the lagoon/beach. On top of all our food and regular dessert, we got a honeymoon cupcake with Mickey sprinkles and candles. The food is really good. If you don't mind noise, this place is great.

Wolfgang Puck's (Downtown Disney)- I think this was the loudest restaurant. The seating was a bit cramped too. I didn't think it was anything special, DH liked it. We won't do it again. We got full from the meal, it was just generic food, IMO, but then again, we're from New Orleans where good cuisine is something we look for.

This was a bit long, hope you got through it!

Did you have the Mickey bride/groom ears. I've read that some honeymooners wore those and got tons of recognition. (My husband would of never done it).

Thanks for sharing.

DH's mom got some for us, he wouldn't even hold the groom ears. He wouldn't wear the Magical Wishes button either, but he agreed to put it on his backpack. My thing about the honeymoon was that I was under the impression that the hotel would give you the buttons to wear. We didn't get them until I asked the hostess at Le Cellier how the brides and grooms got theirs. The sweet girl ran all the way to the front of Epcot to get them for us. (Don't know if I mentioned that yet, but that was almost a highlight of the whole trip. Her name was Carissa, I believe).

Great food report! You went to some of my favorite restaurants! I agree with you that Ohana and Wolfgang Puck's are both very loud, but the food is great and Ohana is a lot of fun!

Congrats on your wedding!

Thanks for posting!
