just got an email about fall deal

I am not going to be able to sleep either! I am so excited..I was hoping this would happen! I don't think there is a cancellation fee unless it's under 45 days prior to arrival (but I am new at AAA so someone who knows more can clear that up).

I just booked 7 nights at the CR Concierge Level, got 7 day PH tickets, and FREE dining. Total was $4780 for 2A 3C.

Perhaps harassing was too strong a term, maybe badgering CM's that are trying to do their jobs correctly and spread the Magic. Maybe next time they will wait and send out the email the same day it starts to give everyone an equal chance at getting in on this great offer. :cool1:

...children, play ni-i-i-i-ce... :teeth: !

That would be adorable! Exept it would be Huey, Dewey, and LOUISE...

LOL! I was just thinking three little people and two big ones. I am sure there are other family sets like that that would work.

does anyone know how it would work if you were planning on paying for 3 adults in a room? Would that just not be allowed in this promotion?

I guess this means I am making another trip this year : ) Says they are releasing it to the public on 4-4

I guess I'll have to bide my time until Monday making all my ADRs. :woohoo:

I knew we should have signed up for the Disney Visa! I'm already booked through AAA for Aug 10-19. We obviously want the new deal! We have four kids so we are booked in two rooms. Is that going to be a problem? If so, I guess we could try to get in a family suite or a fw cabin. I have one very BIG question. We have already paid for our trip in full through AAA. How do we get our money back? :confused3

I assume you can also do this as a solo traveler and just pay the normal rate you would for a room plus tickets?

Yep that is how it works for solos :cool1:

Yes, we upgraded to a hopper pass and more nights. Basically, if you go online and check rack rates, the package is the same as the rack rates, but includes the free dining. That means you can book any variables you want (hotel, tickets, etc.)

HTH!

Can we upgrade to a hopper pass or is it already hopper? can we add days??

thanks~

Bummer! I've got a Disney Visa and haven't received the email. :confused3 That stinks! DH and I having been talking about going this fall and this would sure help seal the deal on the trip.

Anyway the folks that have the DVisa and didn't get the email can book before the "general public"?

I think the answer to that would be yes. As long as you pay the deposit with a Disney Visa card, they know you are a cardholder.

I changed a reservation last night (in which the original one had a deposit paid with the Disney Visa) and still haven't gotten the email. It saved us $500, since we had orginally booked the DDP.

I would just call. If you give them the code, they don't know you didn't get the email. A lot of people are reporting not receiving the email. The deal isn't up on Chase's website yet either.

Thanks I'll do that. What's the code I need to give them? Or is it just that I'm using my DVisa?

Edit: I just found the code in the other thread. Here's hoping I get it worked out. Thanks for your help! :wizard:

To those of you who haven't received emails-have you actually been on the visa website to sign up to receive promotions via email (not the Disney site-the visa site)? Just a thought as to why you have not received anything. :wave2:

I've seen this question posted a couple of times. When you got your Disney VISA, did you give them an e-mail? Otherwise I don't know why some received the e-mail and others didn't. Usually I receive a promotion in the mail, this is only the 2nd time I have received an e-mail from VISA.

when did you all get this e-mail? I have a disney visa but no e-mail. Doesnt seem fair some card holders get it and some dont. It is for ALL disney visa card holders. :confused3

I didn't get the e-mail either, but I was able to book it today. I do have a Disney Visa, and he did require me to use that for the deposit. I am pretty sure that Chase has my e-mail, since we pay electronically and they send me payment notices to the e-mail.

How does it work if you want to add someone to the reservation? We booked today with the code for 2 people and we have another person who might want to come? We purchased airfare thru disney as well and had to pay for that upfront. If we called to add a 3rd person would we HAVE to use the Disney card again for their airfare payment?

thanks

...I believe so. I called this morning, too, and booked 1 room at AKL. We might be adding another room for my DSis-i-L, and I have to book it with MY Disney Visa card....she'll just pay me, or write a check directly to Cardmemeber Services when I get my statement! I can't help you with the airfare...we driving this year (too bad my DH doesn't KNOW yet.... :teeth: !)
