just got a Keurig...we were recently dubbed the Keurig Krew......

I bought my special edition at Best Buy in December and it has begun to give me problems. It sounds like it's common issue for it stop sucking the water out and then shutting down. Luckily, I'm sometimes able to play around with it and get to work.

GreyStr0ke,

Try Best Buy first. They may take it back based on the manufacture's acknowledgment of the problem. If not, call Keurig. Once you tell them you know of the manufacturing defect, they should at least give you a replacement and hopefully some coffee for your troubles like. Ask for the Bell30012 deal ;).

Coffeewiz is doing a promo on the Wolfgang Puck kCups - buy 3, get 1 free which stacks with the 10% "summersale" code and free fedex ground shipping on orders over $50 - I scored 8 boxes of Wolfgang Puck kCups at an average of 31 cents with free shipping! :goodvibes

(summersale code is good to 5/23/10)

Nice catch Stacy. Thanks! $.31 is a decent price. I've yet to try Wolfgang's coffee. Maybe a CW order is needed. :scratchin

OK, I am late to the party, but better late than never! Just received a Breville 700XL for my birthday. As far as I can tell, it is very close the the Keurig (uses K-cups), but it is stainless steel to match the appliances in our new kitchen. Made coffee this morning and iced tea this afternoon and am loving it so far!

Now, I have to read through this thread again and try out the samples that cam with it to decide which k-cups to order.

Was thinking of ya'll today. Chris bought 4 new boxes of K-cups.

Donut Shop, 24ct - $12.99
Island Coconut, 18ct - $9.99
French Vanilla, 18ct - $4.99 WOOT!
Green Mountain Assorted pack, 16ct - $4.99 WOOT!!

Averages about $.43 per cup. Not the best deal, but not to shabby.

Where did you get that sampler for $4.99???

The others I think I've seen on Coffeewiz, but I didn't notice any $4.99 sampler.

CoffeeWiz has a 5% off promo code through July 15th.

During the big buy two, get one free that coffeewiz had on Wolfgang a month or two ago, I bought Vienna Coffee House, Sumatra Kopi Raya, Sorrento Fair Trade, Jamaica Me Crazy, Creme Caramel, and Chef's Reserve. I found I'm not found of the coconut in the Jamaica Me Crazy and the Creme Caramel is a bit watered down for the cup I use (9 oz) but the Chef's Reserve ROCKS!!! I need to drink up several boxes before I shop for more coffee but when I do, I'll be buying the Chef's Reserve. The others are good too but I'm :lovestruc about the Chef's Reserve. My Keurig and I are still in the honeymooning stage even after 5 months.

We bought 4 boxes of Wolfgang Puck kcups and have regretted not ordered samplers first. They are all weak and/or lacked taste and we were very disappointed. Won't be ordering any of them again.

That is the great thing about opinions - everyone has one :goodvibes
Did you get them from Coffeewiz? I need to post reviews over there. It is what helps me decide to buy even though I understand everyone's tastes are different.

No, we ordered them from CoffeeGiant. I haven't posted any reviews anywhere.. thanks for reminding me... I need to do that!

Have had one for about a year. Consider looking at BJs if you belong, the "premium" size was about $130, but came with 60 k-cups. It does save money in the long run, especially if you grind your own using the filter cup. I yse the Hamilton Beach CM07 grinder (target)....does a really good job, and was only in the mid-20's. Coffee bean of choice is either a local (Kornerstone Coffee.com), or Vashon Monks coffee out of western Washington state, especially their Monastery Christmas blend (Nov-Dec only). Hard to believe, since I'm 30 minutes from Tim Horton's HQ across the Peace Bridge.
Only reservation is it seems to be misfiring of late...try to brew but it doesn't , or then double brews on the next attempt. Anyone else seeing this?

BTW thanx for the heads up on the Wolfgang Puck brew. Just got the email this week and was going to try. But I prefer dark and bold coffee.

Coffeewiz.com has the Coffee People Jet Fuel as the Wizzler item today - $8/box - 24 per box. Just thought I'd let you know - I'm picking up a few boxes (limit is 2).

I'm disappointed with the Wolfgang Puck coffee I got too. I won't order that again either.

OK I love Keurigs.... no mess to hear about...no coffee filters to deal with. I love donut shop coffee collection.
