Just hope your keurig doesn't break!!! Ours, purchased in August broke yesterday. For whatever reason, it can't get enough pressure to push the h2o to brew (wasted about 6 cups in my retried efforts). Called them last night, and they had me do a descaling, which didn't help and I am impatiently awaiting a call back from a specialist! I don't want to go and buy a bag of beans, but no coffee for 2 mornings now has been UGLY!
Sorry to hear this.

Our Platinum is over three years old and has never required a descaling.

I've been wanting to descale but I'm subscribing to, "If it ain't broke.....", for now.
