I just recieved a pin for free dining. It needs to be booked by April 30 and it is for travel dates from April 23-August 13. There are no black out dates, even 4th of July week is good for the pin.

Value and Moderate resorts get Quick Service and Deluxe gets the regular plan. She said of course we could always upgrade that QSDP.

She told me that pin just came out today!!! Here's hoping it comes around to some of you with trips booked for then! :wizard:

I just called and I don't have it. I really hope I get it. It would be perfect because it is QSDP with Moderate. We are staying at POFQ and prefer QSDP and the last offer for mods was with DP.
:worship: please please please :goodvibes:goodvibes

I called and had one too. Woo Hoos! Now I may spend some of that money to upgrade to a deluxe. We'll see......:goodvibes

I am curious, can you comebine a pin with a current offer? Like percent off room?

Yay for you and us--we got one too! We were booked with the DxDDP, so the difference is a wonderful discount. For those checking on your name, check under others in your party as well. The pin was actually under my mom, who is joining us. Good luck to you all!

what are you guys saying to the CM on the phone the one that I'm talking to has no clue...

No you cannot use more than one offer.

Does this include if you have APs? We have FL Resident Seasonal Passes (the one with a few blackout dates). As long as we book a rack-rate hotel, can we get the FD? I'm hoping to go for our anniversary!

I called for the 3rd time today and she was very nice, checked out everything she could for about a half hour...then told me it would be a whole lot easier if I had the actual pin number from the e-mail that I "accidentaly deleted"...well duh, if I had a pin number I wouldn't be bugging you every hour.

FD has always required park tickets. No FD package for AP-ers wanting a ticketless package. Same for DVC.

Yes, as Luv2 is saying you will have to have tickets with that package to get with free dining. Now, those tickets are good forever. So you can use your AP's for the trip, then use those other tickets for a future trip. We have firends who have AP's but still book free dining and then use those park tickets on the fd package on trips once the AP's are expired.

Bottom line, for some people even with buying tickets they don't need, a fd offer can be a deep enough discount to make it worth it. For others, it makes no sense at all.

You can do the math and see what discount works better: free dining package or an AP discount (which they will hopefully be releasing soon for dates beyond the current AP offers) on a room only.

Long time DISer and Disney vet, receive Pin code mailers all the time, never an email. Just found this one in my inbox, to my Gmail account! I only use it for my phone, but entered it when I entered one of the FB contests. Go figure, they think I'm a newbie!!

Quick question as I sit on hold with WDW, can you book less than 5 days and receive FD? We take frequent trips and never stay that long

Thanks for the info. Great idea about using the park tix when your AP expires!

Another q - if I decide to buy regular tix to get the FD, can I turn those into APs when I need to renew next year?
