Hi Kari! I've been a lurker here for forever... I just love your designs, you always make me smile! I'm generally quiet on the boards, but have to speak up to tell you how fantastic you and your little ones are (they are just adorable!).

I am a preschool teacher myself and loving and learning a new group of small fry (I teach the little ones - the twos). The do cry when Mommies leave sometimes, but we help them to learn a most important lesson in life - that Mommies come back! They come back when we need them, and it's OK to have fun and learn new things until they do. I'm sure your children's teachers will help them through this transition and come out stronger on the other side. I do think it is often harder on the parents - my son just started Kindergarten as well and I cried too when I left him for the first full day!

Thanks for all the amazing designs - the lunch notes have been a HUGE hit! Please continue sharing with us - even those of us who are quiet theing you are amazing!

Thanks so much for coming out of lurkdom to say hi! The twos are tricky to teach. You have a real gift.

I just have to say GOD BLESS all you teachers. As many of you know I work in a nursing home as a nurse. My kindergarten teacher is a resident there. I have such fond memories of kindergarten. My K teacher was the one who taught me to tie my shoes. I made sure to give her a great big hug yesterday when I was at work.

I love the movie Goodbye Mr Chips. If you're a teacher and you haven't seen it you really should. Makes me cry every time I see it! There are 2 versions; a musical and an old Black and White. I really love both of them.
