Just curious, What is your occupation?

Hubs is Emergency Medicine physician.
I work in casting (for movies/tv/commercials filmed in NC).

Retired Hockey Player, now stay busy in the housing industry. Wife is an RN home infusion specialist.

I am a Customs Broker - a very little known profession.

Maybe it's little known in the Chicago suburbs, but it's a pretty common profession down here on the Mexico border. DS drove me around Laredo a couple weeks ago, and showed me a big area where all the custom brokers are. If you ever need a job in a warm (HOT) location come on down here to the Brownsville area-you'll have lots of opportunities!

Stay at home dad of a DS5 and DD2 for the past 2 years. I love my job (even though i no longer get to call in sick). I used to be in construction sales. Big learning curve... went from selling power tools to cleaning up poop... selling was easier, for sure! My wife is a global business developer, so she travels a lot. I become an at-home dad by choice... we were both working crazy hours and we felt at least one of us needed to be with our children as much as possible.

Help Desk Deskside Support Technician. Fancy name for building and repairing computers. My dream job is working for Disney, maybe at one of the water parks:lmao:

I am an HR Manager
DH is a Self-employed General Contractor
We both feel very blessed to be gainfully employed!

Information Technology/Software System Admin. I stare at a computer all day. So what do I do when I go home? I stare at a computer.:surfweb:

I'll keep it in mind but I only lasted 9 months in Dallas because I couldn't take the heat!

I work as a Parts and Purchasing Manager for Import Auto company and DW is a PSW for nursing home.

I'm pretty sure I responded to this a GOOD while back, but I am Director of Operations for a manufacturer of computers for police vehicles and hospitals. When I first responded we were probably 180 people.... we're now 22 people. My title means nothing and my salary is less than half, but I do have a job and I do have health insurance. I am lucky.

:beach:

I am an RN - Penn State grad - WE ARE!!, and my job is a Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse, in a VA med center....I LOVE my job, and LOVE being a nurse for 36 years. DH is a retired USAF Chief Master Sgt, and is optometry tech at VA med center...he could be retired, but since I work, so does he. I work to pay for my DVC....Guess I will never retire!

Bet you're hating those pesky Hawkeyes!

I am a mortgage loan officer, what fun this job is these days.:rotfl: My hubby owns a franchise. Since I have the insurance, we are hoping to have a baby while I still have a job and coverage, then I can stay home or do part time.

The husband is a siding contractor for new construction homes. I am a LPN & RN. But have decided to stay home until my kids are older.

We are also self employed; campground/marina in Upstate NY.

Corporate Controller here. DW is a domestic goddess to whom I pledged eternal bliss 27 years ago.

I am an attorney. I am a life long public defender, so I actually work for the state.

My DH was a sound contractor for 15 years, but due to health issues and the economy he is now working at home as a subcontractor for 2 separate companies. One company he works to book service calls for GE. With the other company he conducts governmental surveys. He makes less than half what he used to make, but we gave up child care, as he can work around the kids schedules and school, so all and all not bad.
