Just Curious but has anyone....?

Ordered a brochure this year from Walt Disney Travel Company?
If any of you have how.. long did it take to arrive?
Do they allow non-drivers to use ME to get form the airport to WDW and back?

We ordered our brochure online over a week ago, to get an idea of what they offer compared to other travel companies, but so far nothing has come. Should we ring them direct and put our queries to them directly?

We are not going this year but we are tying to plan for September 2009.
By then Virgin Holidays may not be the partner company for the UK.

think they alawys take a few weeks to send them out
I'd phone to see what is happening
I booked with them and are getting ME (magical Express ) for my BIL
and have done the flights on our own
the last 2 years they have given out free dining too
last years came out in Sept I think , so watch out for that too

Thanks I've just given them a call, the CM said we could have 2 weeks at PC in Sept '09 plus 14 day Ultimate park tickets for each of us and ME and guest perks for .....£1121. That would mean having to book flights at a later date as they only get the details for them 330 days in advance. We can also add DDP later too . So we asked for the quote to be held for 48 hours to decide what to do. This years VA flights will cost about £1400 return for the 3 of us so do we book with WDW and hope that the flights don't rocket in price over the next few months. It's a tough one to decide on but it could be a way to save a few hundred pounds. What do you guys and girls think???

I was going to say you only need a small deposit to hold the booking
and I think it is fully refundable up to when the balance has to be paid ,
and it is easy to change dates if the flights are cheaper on other dates then you have picked now

Thanks for the encouragement, it's the first time we are doing this independently we've always used a holiday company before. We are looking forward to trying somewhere different this time, and its great to be able to find a way which could save us a few hundred pounds.We did a brief visit around Pop Century last trip and it seemed fine for us.
DS hasn't been told yet that the room and tickets are booked.

We had a fab time at the ASMovies last summer and we all relaxed so the plan is to have some days planned out and others not set in stone. DH needs a couple of stress free weeks each year so I thought this would be the easiest way to do it all again.

Am I correct in thinking that the flights may be available from this October?
We'll have to save like mad to make sure we can book them, then just need to sort out our leave from work

JNS I see you are in Donegal that is a coincidence we've recently been trying to find out about family there way back in the 1840s but so far no luck I bet it's a beautiful area to live in.

Our WDW brochure arrived this morning only took 10 days!! Hopefully the planning dvd will soon follow it.

Can you please share the link for the Walt Disney Travel Company. When I googled it I only got the Disneyland option in LA !!

We got a good price from them because the weeks we chose are value season and kids are no extra charge to stay onsite plus we were quoted our 14 day ultimate tickets for next year at the price for this year
I'll ask about the Dining Plan at a later stage, who knows we may get a few days of that free too

Update:- Out invoice arrived this morning, all correct details, so it's taken 4 days from us making the reservation on Monday I think that's great
Other companies we've used in the past have taken way longer than that
