Just closed on resale- what happens next

Literally just closed. Yay! I’m curious- will I get something in the mail from Disney? Or will they communicate thru email? I’ve read that it takes about 4 weeks after closing- has this your experience if you bought resale? Curious what to expect.

In about two weeks or so you should get a letter in the mail welcoming you to DVC and your member number. Then you can go to the website and create your account.

For me it was by email only. Two of them. First advising of the resale transfer. Second with a membership activation code. Received each a minute apart.

You will get an email saying they have completed the re-sale.

Currently its around 10-14 days.

Then your points need to be added. Thats around 4 days or so. May be longer if new membership
