Although that's what the description says, people report that you get 14 days from when you activate, regardless of the length of stay.

I had read that the mug stays activated, we will try it out. Thank you.

In my experiences over 2018, the mug is activated for a minimum of 14 days. Sometimes you may get a little magic and it will be valid for multiple 14 day periods. I had a little pixie dust in early September when I had a 3 way split stay with DlxDP on first and 3rd parts. Didn’t need the mug for that last segment so I asked if there was any way to get the mug at that time but not activate until my visit at the end of the month. The cast member at Mara made it active until Dec 7th!
