So after almost 7 months of engagement I am FINALLY 1 year out and could call Disney FTW!!! They asked why I wanted a Disney wedding and I said because I am a Disney Fanatic and am slowly converting my fiance
I am amazed how EASY it is to convert him too - after 1 week long trip last fall he actually chose Disney over an all inclusive resort for a week in January because he wanted to go back and COMB the Magic Kingdom and see the wedding site. I knew there was a reason I loved him!!
We are doing an Escape Wedding, hoping for Monday October 20th, 2008 at SBP at 2:30pm with a reception dinner most likely at Spoodles (although I am still going back and forth on that) and a dessert party in Epcot right after. We will be spending 14 full days there for wedding and honeymoon and I am SUPER excited.
We want to keep it very simple, no big extra decorations or favors or anything, although I do want to get mickey ears with everyones names stitched on them to wear at my command!!!
Yeah, so I just had to share my excitement. I probably won't do a whole lot of planning other than the dress for awhile but this in itself is making me dance right now.

Congrats! Making that first call is so exciting, I'm so happy for you.
When I compared the basic and premium passes online it was only a $130 difference so I don't know if the wedding passes are different but that is a lot more than I was wanting to spend. Any insight on this from those who have done it would be greatly appreciated.
and DisneyQuest not at all (DF was not impressed last time, kind of dingy and half the games didn't work) and I can see us doing water parks only once or twice we will probably do upgrades in bits and pieces.
