Hi everybody,

I have just booked a garden view room at the Hard Rock for Oct 2005 at $249/night using my gold Lowes Membership Card (first time use of card). In hindsight I looked at the prices again for the same dates, not using my Lowes number or other promo and the rate is the same. Do you think this is right as I believed that Lowes membership "entitled" you to a cheaper rate. Am I being naive here?

the lowes first card doesnt get you a discount. and, if you book at a discounted rate like the APH or AAA , you dont get your lowes first perks. ( like wine, etc. )

With a Lowes Gold card, you are entiled to an upgrade at reservation time. Call lowes-first back again and ask for an upgrade to a deluxe room! For sure, there is one available for October.

Loews membership doesn't entitle you to a lower rate. It does entitle you to a free room upgrade "IF available". YOu can get room discounts for AAA, FAN club, Annual pass, and Entertainment rate.
