Just booked for April!!!!!!

After reading several posts about scarce campsite availability, I called Disney in a panic and was able to get our dates in April. We will be arriving on the 19th and staying until the 25th. I am so excited. Now, if I can only decide on a loop.

Now, to dining plan or not to dining plan.... that is the question.

Whether to get the DDP is totally up to each family and what it would mean to you. We've never gotten it as we do much better oop. Most people that get it know they could do better oop, but like the convenience of it being paid for. So, that's a VERY personal decision. Look at the menus and plan your meals approximately, then you can price them out.

Unlike many, I do not, will not, cook while I'm at Disney. Again, a very personal, family decision. Many do enjoy cooking at the campsite.

About which loop? What kind of rig do you have? Pets, needs, etc. That will help narrow your decision.

Have a great stay (even if it's many months away!).

I love to cook, but do not like to do so when we are on vacation. We will do snacks and easy breakfast at the campsite, but meals will be out. It's vacation after all....

We don't have pets on this trip, but would like to be near the boat docks and beach.

I, too, love to cook, but like you not at Disney

We always request loop 100, as we just walk to the dock, or a quick walk to the internal bus connection. Loops 100-200 are preferred non pet loops, 300 preferred pet loop.

I booked April yesterday. Can't wait! I'm going to WDW in less than 3 weeks, but staying at Port Orleans. Love Disney, but being at the FORT makes it extra special!

We are thinking of requesting 1200 or 1300 loops, my son likes the location. any suggestions? I would rather be closer to the docks, but he wants to be near the pool.
