Just booked flights, $151 a person from MKE to MCO on Delta!

When just yesterday it was 269 a person. Saved us $456!

Oh my good for you. Where did you book through? I am looking to fly out of Milwaukee in March return April. Those are great prices. Everything I am finding is around $450.

What I do is look for the prices through Bing travel (google it) like every day for the last two months. They look at all the airlines for you, and compare them. It also gives a price predictor telling you if you should wait, buy, or it doesn't matter. Bing has been saying wait for the last month, that the prices will go down. And I check today, and my jaw hit the ground when I saw $151 and I booked it quick!

And its nice to see another Wisconsin-er on here! Go packers!

No problem! I was expecting to spend about 1200 on our tickets, so this extra 600 bucks we get from this sale is going to be nice! I think we might upgrade to a AKL now...

Tried to book as I got a decent price for Det to Orlando and got error message 2 times once I input everything including my credit card. Said the price was incorrect and the right price was (quite a bit) higher

Called and was told they have been having computer issues today with it giving our lower prices and they are working on it. Sounds like maybe some of you were able to get it go through before they caught it possibly?

I am so bummed

I checked it in the morning and it was 269 a person, check it an hour later and it was 151! My dad used to own a travel agency so I called him up right away to ask if it was a joke. He said book it, and book it quick! He thought it might be an error but if you pay for it and get your confirmation number, you're gold!

I'm sorry you didn't get a good price my dad said stuff like that happens withairlines all the time. So obsessively checking the prices everyday can actually pay off.

It definitely can work out. The guy I spoke with said it started around 3pm and it looks like they just got it fixed on their site..when they were working on it the computer wouldnt let you book it through

Lucky ducks! From my area prices only go up ....with the occasional $20 less then it bounces back $50.

LOL Can't win when ya live in nowheres-ville. LOL

Yeah the price is definitely back up, and actually higher than what is what two days ago! It must have been a glitch in their system. And I'm sorry DisMN

I scored too! Got flights for $133 r/t from Boston to Orlando.

I had also been checking (obsessively) on bing travel, and they've been priced @ $245 r/t for about 2 weeks. So when I saw the $133, I almost screamed out loud. Went on to the Delta site though, and it was still $245. UGH! Checked Travelocity, and they had it at $133, so went back to Delta, and sure enough, it was there, so I booked it. I didn't even check w/ hubby first - was afraid I'd lose the price. Luckily, he's ready for a vacation, so it's all good!

So I have my confirmations in hand, charge appears correctly on credit card, and we're going to Disney.

Yay! Good thing you hopped on it. As soon as I saw it I started filling in all the info and my CC#, didn't check with my DH either. Just my dad (the ex travel agent), to make sure it was real. My DH gets annoying with my obsessive habit of checking out fares/ADR times/hotel rates/ etc when we go on vacation. But now I told him yesterday he's not allowed to be annoyed since I saved us $$$!

Side note: I wonder how many people saw and booked them while they were having the "impromptu sale"?

I'm so mad! I saw the $130 last night for Boston to MCO on American Airlines. My DH is traveling on business so I didn't have a chance to talk to him till this afternoon around 3 (we had absolutely no plans for a Disney vacation this year so I felt like i should at least mention it to him especially since it was just going to be me & the kids!). When I went back in, it was gone, and back up to $260. Why, oh why, did I have to try to be a good wife?? He's telling me to go ahead & book it now anyways but I feel too guilty. Bing is saying that the flights will probably go down about $50 in the next couple days so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Weird that this happened with both Delta & AA on the same day. Are they related somehow?

They might be related? And at least your DH is saying to book now, so you still might get a vacation. But it just makes it so much better if you can a deal. I just looked at Bing travel for my dates, and it's even higher today. Now its 300 a person! And that's with one stop. I would keep looking every day if I was you, it might happen again
