Just booked blt with ss points

I was going to buy blt when I was in wdw in october but there were no incentives only $5 a point discount
so I decided to look for a resale
I found a loaded saratoga springs resale and purchased it for $68 a point
today I call ms and booked 2 standard view studios for 5 nights with the saratoga springs points
now I can't wait to go I have seen the models but to be there will be excellent
After purchaseing my resale I was going to add on at blt but having just got 2 studios at the 7 month window i think I will now just buy another saratoga contract

WOW, very cool, congrats. That will be a great week to be at Disney with food and wine fest and MNSSHP! have fun!

We are hoping to change to BLT from our 2 BR BWV, Boardwalk view to a BLT MK view or BL view for the 10-17th of Oct. I just hope and pray that we do not lose the BWV and not get the BLT as they change over from one to the other

Congrats! Surprised you could get one BLT standard view at 7 months, let alone 2!

Would love to hear your impressions of SV and BLT in general after your stay.

SaratogaRob-I also own at Saratoga Springs and book other resorts at the 7 month window. I've never had difficulty booking anywhere at the 7 month window with the exception of Christmas. We just stay at Saratoga Springs during Christmas and love every minute of it! We have done 3 add ons at Saratoga Springs and will continue to do so in the future. I'm glad you got your rooms at the 7 month window.

Keep in mind that before a resort is completely sold out I think it tends to be a little easier to book. I think standard views at BLT may get a little tougher as times goes on.

Having said that, though, we've had good luck since 2002 booking pretty much wherever we wanted. Of course, we tend not to travel during peak times.

At one time or another, we've owned BCV, VWL, BWV, and Saratoga points. Now we just own SSR points. I would be happy staying at SSR every trip. But it's fun to stay at all the different resorts.
