Well, I went to the WDW site and booked it but not exactly sure what this is gonna set us back. Anyone???

Also, after reading some posts, I would love some clarification. If one of my DD's orders the pizza (which many here have said is tiny) and she is still hungry, can she order another one? It reads as if it is all you can eat, but not sure.

Thanks!!:thumbsup2

To the best of my knowledge the breakfast menu is "all you care to enjoy" ~ the lunch and dinner menus are not.

At lunch and dinner you order an entree and also have access to a cold buffet with salads, rolls, meats, etc. Even if the pizza was too small I am sure she will fill up with the items on the buffet - and that is all you care to eat.
They also bring a family style dessert with three offerings for the table...YUM. We have never left hungry!

Here is my 2011 buffet prices thread that I started last month, after getting prices from Disney dining, as All Ears and WDWinfo are frequently incorrect:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2627843

Remember, peak season charges an extra $4.00/adult and $2.00/child higher + tax for each meal.

All buffets went up by approx. $2.00-$3.00 it seems.

Hope this helps, Tiger :)

thank you all so much! knew I could get answers here!:goodvibes

I thought this was buffet style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From what I'm reading it is not buffet for lunch and dinner. It sounds like there is a buffet of cold salads and meats, but you order an entree for lunch. Is this correct?

We are going for lunch with our 2 year old. Will she be able to get chicken nuggets or a pizza? Or will she just need to eat off of my plate? Am I correct that Disney won't charge the buffet price for my 2 year old? I certainly wouldn't want to pay for her because she is extremely picky and eats like a bird. I'd be lucky if she takes 5 bites of anything while we're there.

Cold buffet, and then you order your entree from a menu.

Under 3 does not need to eat off of your plate, as they will bring her own entree and beverage at no charge. They are very good at Akershus about doing this.

We have eaten here many, many times over the years, and their service is great, especially in accommodating picky children or young eaters.

HTH, Tiger :)
