Just became DVC Members

We just became members at Beach Club Villas. I do have a few questions since we have not gotten everything in the mail yet.

Where is the cheapest place to buy Annual Passes--i know that i do not get a discount through DVC.

What discounts are available through DVC?

I know that I cannot pool hop at SAB---what other pools are you not allowed at if not staying there? Which resorts have the best pools?

What is the one negative thing about being a memeber--I have heard a lot of good--but not many of the bad sides to it?

Also--what helpful hints do you have to share to a new member?

I think the price for AP is same whether purchased at Gate or in advance - on renewal is when you get a discount

Various - do you have the member web site link and user name/password?

AKL pool as well we are not allowed to hop to - there are restricted dates as well for pool hopping - after SAB, the next best pools in my opinion at Poly, POFQ, GF and CSR

Bad thing - hmmm...means the mouse gets a lot of your money

First let me say Welcome Home!!! and do a happy dance for you!!

As for the bad things about DVC, you will have to visit the mouse a little more often. Oh I guess that isn't bad. Haven't figured out a bad thing yet, sorry.

The one thing that I think you should learn is how to bank and borrow points. It can be very confusing, but the people here will help you out.

Huh? Did I read this correctly? I thought if you joined BCV that you could use SAB. I was thinking that was one of the main perks for joining BCV.

From what we were told was "even though we own there--we can only use SAB if we are actually staying there. Like in December we are staying at OKW because that was the only one we could get therefore we could not go to SAB because we are not at that resort."

In June we will stay at BCV just for SAB.
