Just got home this evening from a wonderful 8 nights at the fort. It is really warm down there for this time of year. Mid to high 80's every day and humid. We did have the sand fleas or whatever they are. Everyone has bites all over there feet and ankles. Had a golf cart the whole time and had a small parade of decorated golf carts touring the campground on Saturday night. MNSSHP was a blast. We went on the 24th and the Magic Kingdom was empty. We could walk on to everything. There is a lot of tree damage from the hurricanes. We had a great time, but it just wasnt' long enough.Will post some pictures when we have a chance. Any questions?

Sorry your stay was too short but still is longer than we can ever stay.

We are heading over for a quick weekend and according to weather forecasters it should be low/mid 60s at night and mid/upper 70s day. Should be pretty nice.

We belong to DVC, Disney Vacation Club a Disney Timeshare and in 2005 the Wonder is booked for a 4 day cruise by DVC Members only. This will be the 2nd time this has been done, with the first time in 2003.

On Sat. Oct. 23rd the phone lines opened up for DVC Members to call and try and book their reservations for the cruise and in 5 1/2 hrs. the ship was fully booked.

Glad you had a good trip. We were there in May '04 and are returning in Feb '05 (gotta use those AP's) and I was somewhat disappointed that the music on the pathway down to the marina wasn't working all the way to end. Did you notice if this was fixed yet?

It took me several days to figure out what was missing on our last trip.

No, actually there is only one speaker that is working on the path. We all said the same thing. They need to get it fixed. My DS said that's one of his favorite things.

I didn't know there was music on the path to the marina! Is it general "Disney" music, or something more specific to FW? Do they play the music associated with the fireworks?

It's funny what little background things ice the cake of the Disney experience. We'll be walking around somewhere else and someone in our family will say, "this feels almost like disney". And everytime we examine it, its the "singing rocks" phenomenon.
