Hi Everybody..
Just back this morning from 8 days at AKL. I will put out a report later on, but just wanted to let you know I felt that it was WAY more crowded than I had anticipated. Pretty much every ride was anywhere from 25-50 min. waits. DEFINITLY take Fast Pass when it is offered, cuts out so much waiting time.
The weather was pretty good...also a little warmer than I had expected, but not one drop of rain the last 8 days. It was fine during the day in shorts & tanks or t-shirts...Nights we would wear pants or a long sleeve shirt.
I will post more later....Any questions..be sure to ask!
Also...look for my report on our 8 days of dining tomorrow over at the restaurant boards..Never the same restaurant twice :-)

Glad to hear crowds are coming back.I think Disney is more fun with a crowd than it is when deserted.Glad you had good weather without any rain.::yes:: :wave2:

SO far the first 5 days of my trips forcast are showing 0% chance of rain. I'm keeping my fingers double crossed. I really would like lower crowds. But I'm going to Disney so I'm not going to complain-- I'd take wall to wall crowds over not going any day!!!

What were the mosquito's like?? Are they still really bad??

I'd like to know about the mosquitoes also :)

Deb

We just returned from 10 days at WDW and it was the first time in 10 trips that we were bitten by mosquitos. Even the CMs we spoke to couldn't believe how bad they were. One tip: Do not wait for the parades near Splash Mountain! That place is a breeding ground and we were eaten alive!!

I didn't really see any mosquitos....but I know they were there somewhere because of the 10 or so bites I had all over my legs! grrrr. Of course my boyfriend got ZERO.

We went to MK on an EE day and arrived at about 9, didn't get to rides until about 9:45, Most rides were walk on or 5 minutes, and never had any waits longer than 10 minutes maybe once or twice until afternoon. Then it got packed.

But in our experience there were light crowds at all the parks until about noon-1, then it started to pick up and was pretty crowded by 3.
But by that time we had already done all we wanted
:D
