Just Back - some thoughts and reviews

Just got back on Saturday from a wonderful WDW vacation. We stayed at POP and even though we had a few complaints there we had a really great time. Ate and ate and ate some more. Got to see the castle TP'd by Stitch. DD thought that was so funny. It was a little more crowded than we expected and have experienced in the past, but we had always visited before the end of October. Weather was beautiful and we really hated to come home. DD actually cried.

what were your complaints w/pop?

Complaints with POP - we were in a first floor room just down from the elevator in the 50's building and it was very noisy - usually until after 2 am, you could here people talking and noise from above. Also you could here other rooms flushing and showering. Also the food court - everything we ordered was really good, but some of the "stations" were very unorganized. DH & I both had trouble getting our food after we had ordered. The CM's were filling orders all around us, including items that we had also ordered. They seemed to be trying to get food out quick by taking orders, but then forgetting people and what we had ordered.

None of it was enough to ruin our trip, but probably would pick a different room location next time if given the chance.

We were there last week and also stayed in the 50's building but without any noise issues. However we were on the 3rd floor facing the lake. Breathtaking view too! The CM at checkin said that there were older people like me (!! I'm 43!) in that part of the building who also needed quiet. I was to tired to raise an eyebrow regarding the age comment. Bum. Still, gosh I love that place !
