That is the best way to handle it: if you don't like that they seat you inside, then politely leave. They're a business like any other business. If their new policy of not allowing people to wait for an outside seat hurts business, then they'll eventually change it back. One of the things that drew my wife and I to the Rose and Crown is its outdoor seating (as one of the few sit-down places with outdoor seating). We just won't count of it next time.
