Crowd levels were great (except for Rosh Hashana). We were able to walk on most rides, and maximum wait time was maybe 5-10 minutes for most of the trip. From Saturday Oct 1st through Monday the 3rd it was really crowded, though. On Sunday Fantasyland was so full of people you could barely walk through, and we insanely waited 30 minutes to ride Dumbo (only because the 2yo had a complete meltdown if ever passed by Dumbo without riding on it).

Weather was hot (mid-90's) and humid, cooling down a bit by the last few days.

If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to try and answer as best I can.

Just wanted to say WELCOME HOME! Glad you had a good trip,

Claire

We were there 9/28 - 10/4 and I hear you on the dumbo ride - our 3 yr old loved it (but we hated the lines . Our biggest disappointment was Pooh's playground - DD liked it but only played there a little while. Seems like they could have done more with it.

Glad you had a great trip. Wondering if you did any EHM, MK in particular. If so, what did you think?

We just got back as well, were there from 10/2 - 10/7. We went to the MK on monday, 10/3 and it was so crowded I couldn't believe it, we only did a few rides, and then ate lunch and had to leave because it was wall to wall people. I checked the touring guide and it wasn't listed as one of the parks to avoid so I didn't think it was going to be so bad. We didn't do EMH because I was afraid of all the crowds I heard would be there.

We happened to be in MK on a Friday (morning EMH day), and it wasn't too bad. I'd say a tiny bit more crowded than other days were, but not nearly as bad as the weekend of the 1st-3rd.

We were in Epcot the afternoon & evening of a late EMH, and it was pretty crowded during the afternoon (though we were in the Land pavillion most of that time, and I understand it's pretty crowded as a general rule 'cuz of Soarin). But once the EMH actually got started the park cleared out and it was fantastic. We walked right on Mission Space and Test Track over and over, and were the only ones on the Spaceship Earth ride, which we had skipped before because the lines for it always seemed long as everyone came in at opening. So we felt it was worth it.

After that, we tried another evening EMH at MGM, and were pretty disappointed. There only seemed to be 3 rides open. The boys waited in a moderate line for Star Tours, then we went over to Tower of Terror & R&R, and both lines were insane. It was so crowded in that section of the park that you could't walk through, so we left.

We agreed that on evening EMH more should be open, since it's a longer span of time and more people seem to show up.

Glad to hear you had a good time. :Pinkbounc

We were there the same time (Sept. 21 - Oct. 5) and found the same things you did...SUPER quiet until October 1, then it really picked up. Fortunately we had done most everything we wanted to, so we took it easy the last couple of days. It was hot, though.

Welcome home! Glad you had a good time! Thanks again for sharing your cruise with us. It was a highlight!

Us too!!! Our trip was 9/24 to 10/4 and also think the first week the parks were completely empty, but the crowds did increase towards the end of the trip. We were completely spoiled the first part of the trip with not waiting for absolutely anything, then on my son's birthday (10/3), he wanted to go on the Jungle Cruise (for the fourth time) and the wait was 30 minutes!!! And it was HOT, HOT, HOT.
