We just returned from another great trip to Disney!
We stayed at the WL for probably our last time
We will be an official party of 5 (by Disney standards) in Dec. So we will move to a different resort next time to accommodate us. WL was wonderful as always. We never felt too crowded for boats, pool, RF or anywhere else. The only time it was crowded was Friday night when it was pouring down rain...we were pretty much all trapped there
Crowds were great for us (I know it it is all relative depending on who you are and when you go) This was our 6th trip the first week of Oct and probably the best crowds ever. ( we did our best to avoid parks that had EMH) Tues. we went to MK and waited no more then 10 min. for ANYTHING! The weather was also beautiful! (until Friday night)
Epcot was crowded in the evenings...as expected due to Food and Wine.
We went to AK on Sat. in the monsoon....Totally worth it. We knew we would get wet and possibly not be comfortable, but it was worth it for the crowds. Nothing was closed. We walked on to every ride and walked up to every character. It was a little chilly, but like I said, we knew we chose to play in the rain!
Ate at some new places for us that were really good...Garden Grill, Yak and Yeti, Cape May Breakfast. All very good...as well as others we have done before...Ohana's breakfast, Whispering Canyon and Cape May Dinner.
MNSSHP on Oct. 6 We thought is was crowded but not unbearable. Lines for characters were long. Candy lines moved fast...best candy by far was at the brer rabbit trail by Splash Mountain. No wait for rides on this night. We found a place in front of Crystal Palace about 30 min. before the fireworks and found a seat on the end of main street for the 2nd parade. We had a great time!
We did have several encounters with RUDE people...not CM's..just people in general. Nothing that ruined anything for us, just kinda made us wonder what people are thinking sometimes. But in crowds, you always have people who don't think rules or common courtesy applies to them.
Any questions? I will try to answer as soon as I can...Trying to unpack and return to reality!
