We just got back from a wonderful Thanksgiving trip a few hours ago. We were also celebrating DH's parents 50th anniversary. We flew down Wednesday and spent four nights in two 2 bedrooms at Saratoga Springs. Another part of the family had a motor home in Fort Wilderness. I think there were about 20 of us total. We had a great time and did so many rides and attractions in all four parks.

I will be happy to answer any questions!

Sounds like you had a great time too! We are still here until next Thursday.

Oh I wish we were still there! It was very hard to leave this morning. I hope you are having a wonderful time. I bet you will see a big drop in the crowds. I think yesterday (Saturday) was less crowded. The crowds in Epcot seemed very manageable especially if you used fast passes.

Enjoy the rest of your stay!

Yes, crowds were WAY down yesterday (Sunday). I suspect today they will be pretty much non existant. We are in a 1 bedroom now, and the studio portion lock off is still empty. I don't think anyone moved in upstairs either, so it is nice and quiet this morning!

Daine,

How was the condition of your 1 br at OKW?

Diane, you often ask about the noise from above level at OKW...did you have a problem in the dedicated 2 bedroom?

KarenB, did you do any Grand Gathering events? We will be celebrating our 40th in June, and I was thinking of doing either the breakfast at Tony's or the Safari dinner. I am trying to find out the cuisine at the dinner since it is described as African, and I could use some clues as to the choices.

No, we did not do any of the Grand Gathering events. There were just too many people going in many directions and too many different interests. For example, some had park hoppers, a few played golf instead and had just a one day pass. There were 21 of us at one point. We all got together only twice during the entire trip. That was the last night at the Turf Club at SSR and the other time was Thanksgiving dinner at a motor home in Fort Wilderness. DH and I looked into it a little, but we thought it may be too difficult to plan.

Karen - cool photo. Glad you had a great trip. Are you EVER going back to Hilton Head??? We will be there the first week of June - like usual.

OMG-I still chuckle about our "mix-ear" where we all met at Hilton Head. That was such fun. We would love to get back to Hilton Head again, but we have been having a ball using our points all over. We were in California last June and the year before that we took friends to OKW. Glad to see you are still checking in once in a while!
