We were on the Magic for 7 nights (July 3-10) then stayed at WL from July 10-14. We booked resort only through Dreams Unlimited.
We arrived at WL around 10 am. The CM told us he had good news and our room was ready. He said he had other good news and we were upgraded to a courtyard view.
WL was great as usual. Other than going to the parks, we watched the Electrical Light parade from the beach, spent time in both pools, and DH and I even spent an hour or so reading in the Iron Spike Room.
I will have to say that a little known secret about WL would be Territory Lounge. DH and I had a few drinks in there one evening. Also, after a long day at the park, DH, DSs (14 and 16) and I had late night snacks. They only offer a few things but we felt it was very good-nachos, wings, potato skins, pizza. Only a handful of people were in there. It was a great way to get away from the crowds.
The only negative thing I have to report is that DH let the CM that was checking us in know it would be our DSs 16th birthday while we were there. The CM said, no problem, they would have balloons and a banner waiting in the room. Well----nothing was left.
We were checking out the next day, so we couldn't have it delivered at another time. I know our son was disappointed since he had seen other people receive this birthday treat.
I'll be happy to answer any questions.
