Just back from WL!! Upgrade question?

We are back from our awesome stay at WL! It was our first but hopefully not our last. I do have a question though. We paid for a standard room but our view was gorgeous! We were on the 3rd floor at the very end and could look out at the lake/beach area. We watched the Electric Water Parade and the sunrise from our balcony. We weren't told that they were giving us an "upgrade" but judging from our view we thought it definately had to be an upgrade. Could someone tell me? Thanks!

It sounds like you were upgraded to a woods view room!
We stayed at the WL in December and loved it, it is a beautiful resort.

Sounds like an upgrade to me, but hey, any room at the Lodge is alright in my book.
