Here are some services we tried that were well worth the money--

1. abbf.com---we ordered a crib for DD and it was waiting in the luggage room upon arrival. I think she was much more comfortable in a "real" bed. I did bring a crib sheet from home so it would be familiar.

2. Florida tours---we ordered a limo (we had 8 people). It was so nice to have a driver waiting for us upon arrival to help with luggage, and to not have to wait to depart the way you do with Mears. He was on time (actually a little early) both coming and going. There was a big plush Mickey sitting in the back and Finding Nemo was on the TV. The kids loved it!!!

3. wegoshop.com----I sent my list a week ahead or so. I love this service!!! Everything was just what I had ordered, prompt delivery, and I saved so much time by not going shopping myself. I ordered diapers, wipes, baby food, water, snacks, you name it.

4. a separate seat for DD on American airlines flight---after reading the threads about babies being projectiles on flights, I ordered her a ticket. I am SO GLAD I did. She did not complain about being strapped in, and slept both coming and going. I know I would have had a wrestling match with her as a lap baby---she is at the age where she wants to crawl and climb everywhere.

5. the Poly----this was a great location with little ones---a quick monorail ride away from the MK. Also, we could just roll on the stroller (brought from home) and not have to fold it up the way you do on the buses.

Let me know if you have any questions!!!

Sounds like you had a great time. We are going in late April/early May. We have Tiffany Towncar reserved, I am assuming its like your limo service. We are staying at AKL and bringing our own stoller too.

I do have some questions for you:

1. wegoshop- My only hesitation in using them is it sounds like there has to be a 2hr window for them to deliver the stuff to your room. I really don't want to sit around and wait for 2 hrs. How did it work for you?

2. any recommendations were to eat that the kids just loved?

thanks in advance...

How much did you pay for the crib? We are going in June with my DD, her DH, DS and his DW and 2 DGDs, who are both 2, and have requested the pack and plays Disney provides. After reading your post, I'm wondering if we should get the cribs as well.

TIA

Answers for you:

1. wegoshop---Becca gave me asked when I would like our order delivered and said to give a 1/2 hour window---15 minutes before and after. I called her from the room to give her room number. She then called me a couple of times on my cell phone (we were eating dinner in the hotel) with updates. . . when she was leaving the store, when she arrived on WDW property, etc. Then I just met her at the room.

2. the kids loved Ohana's breakfast with Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale and the Crystal Palace lunch with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore. Crystal Palace was hard for us though since it is buffet---someone had to stay with the baby and going to get 6 peoples plates was work.

I think everyone's favorite restaurant was the Rainforest Cafe---DD was mesmerized with all of the scenery, sounds, and action. We were right by the big elephant.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!!!

I believe it was $70 for the week. The website is abbf.com and the crib was very easy to put together. It was full-size, just like the one pictured, and came with a mattress pad, sheet, bumper and quilt---all Mickey Mouse decorated.

Our DD has really not slept in a pack-n-play much----that is one reason I was worried about it. I did bring a sheet from home to make it more familiar to DD.

I'll tell my DD about this. They're not staying a week, only 4 nights, so not sure if they have nightly rates but she can check.

Thanks!
:)

I found a different website called www.babiestravellite.com that you can order things like food, diapers, toys, etc. to be delivered to your hotel room. Has anyone used this service before? It didn't say on their site if they had that two hour window or not. It just said that the box would be there upon your arrival.

Hi! Did you bring your car seat for the 10 month old on the plane? I'm beginning to think we should have a s :wave2: eat just for our 19 month old.

Yes. We did bring a carseat. In hindsight, I am glad that I didn't keep her as a lap baby. She is at the age where she wants to NOT be held and wants to crawl around. But she is happy in her carseat.

Good luck with your trip!!!

Bayside Mom ... I was just reading this post and thought I'd respond to you too. We just went over the March break and we had a seat for our 19 mos old and we used her car seat. It was GREAT!!!! She sat the whole time, no complaining and on the flight home she slept as it was during nap time. I highly recommend her own seat and the car seat (just in case!).

Have a good time!

Thanks for the info! I am absolutely going to use wegoshop.com when we go to WDW in July. Who wants to pack a weeks worth of diapers and wipes????!!! This service is GREAT!
