Just back from the POLY!

we were there in Oct and heard that wonderful music!!! It was loud enough to hear all around IMO.

I thought they needed to turn it up during the fireworks because with all the people on the beach and kids yelling you had to sit right next to the speaker to hear the Hallowishes or Wishes music...but it was fantastic no doubt!!

Just curious where you were sitting, there were only a couple of families at the beach since it was chilly out, we were at the beach just off the volcano pool and I didn't hear any music at all.

I heard music all over the resort, beach, pool and GCH and during the fireworks it was on at the beach and even in the hall of the longhouse when I was there in August.

Just wanted to post something quick about my trip to the POLY. It was my first time staying deluxe, and I don't think I will ever go back! I loved the POLY, it was so relaxing and quiet.

Glad you had a good time and enjoyed the Poly.

We stayed there for the first time in Jan '91. We'll be checking in on Monday for our 20th visit there, and yes, we are obsessed with the Poly.

We just returned from our first stay at the Poly. We really enjoyed it. We were in Fiji in what I assume is a newly renovated room. It was gorgeous. The plasma TV was a big hit with my daughter.
We watched Wishes from the beach and then at the end of the pier and we definately could hear the music.

Can you hear it from the speakers at the Polynesian or from the MK itself? I know at the Grand Floridian the music at the park is so loud you can hear it at the resort.

Yeah! I'm so glad you loved the Poly. Isn't it the best? I can't wait to get back there.

I just got a message from a friend at the Polynesian confirming that the music and fireworks audio still plays at the Polynesian. Unless there is some sort of work being done (which they sometimes turn it off during that) you should be able to hear the fireworks show and the music in many locations of the Polynesian as I and others have observed over the past few months.
