Hi - We just got back from 5 nights at the Swan and 2 nights at Royal Pacific. Luckily we had beautiful weather the whole week - it turned cold this morning however. The crowds were higher than I've seen in October and May - the other times we have visited WDW. Any questions - just send them my way - I'll be doing laundry for the next three days!!

How was your stay at the Swan? Just booked there for June to take DNeph(7) to StarWars W-end. We plan on going to MGM every day for a bit for that, so I know the transportation will be very easy from there. Did you walk over to Dolphin to eat and how was that - did you have any kids with you and did they enjoy the pool? We own at BWV, so we are familiar with the area - just never stayed at Swan or Dolphin before - really looking forward to trying it ! :smooth:

We stayed at the Dolphin last summer and will stay at the Swan this summer. My kids were 12 & 9 and they loved the entire pool area. We got great food at Tubbi's and the Dolphin Fountain. Transportation to MGM is the best because it's the last stop in the Boardwalk area before heading to the park, and the first stop on the way back.

I loved the Swan - there are two vanities so I could get up early and shower and get ready with the door closed - while everyone else got a little extra sleep. Then my daughter and husband each got a vanity to get ready. We did refillable mugs at the Dolphin - basically just went over there each night and filled them up with coffee or soda - but we never ate at Tubbies. Maybe we would have if we were staying at the Dolphin. We usually ate somewhere in Epcot in the evenings. The bus and boat service were really good. The last poster is right - the boat goes right from the Swan to MGM so it is really fast. Our room was 712 east side - it was perfect. A really short walk from the elevators and we overlooked the lake and the Dolphin. We received a USA Today and Wall Streeet Journal each day. Make sure you are signed up as a spg member - you might as well get the points. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Something we did that was fun - went over to the Beaches and Cream and did the Kitchen Sink - my girls loved it! Our pictures from it are great. If you have any other questions - please just let me know.
