The fact that you're looking for a 2BR is definitely in your favor. If you are extremely flexible with your dates, you may have a chance. However, HH is extremely popular during the summer months. Members who own points at other DVC resorts often have good luck right at the 7-month mark, but any later than that and it could get a little trickier. Stay flexible, and if you need to, get on wait lists. You never know!

Not sure if this is in reply to my post but if it is, then yes I have looked into SAV. It would require changing planes. I have looked into flying into every possible airport I can think of (even JAX which looks like a 3 hour drive, but no nonstops from boston, providence or even NH)

I would go ahead and just book the connecting flights, but the only reasonable one I can find returns home at 6:30 am out of SAV. That would mean leaving hilton head at 4 am because it is an hour drive to SAV.
