We just returned from a 7 day whirlwind trip. We had such a great time. We are used to September crowds, so Spring Break crowds seemed enormous to me. Anyway, here are some highlights.
>Got picked at MGM to be in the "Object of Mystery" skit! Way cool, of course DH was having camera challanges that day and claims the camera jammed.
>Saw one of the most incredible sights when a visually impared lady rode Snow White with her Black Lab Companion Dog.
>Wishes was fabulous, here's a tip: DH and I always enjoy the fireworks but hate waiting around when we could be doing Splash and BTM. It is next to impossible to naviagate your way to Main Street after Spectro and before Wishes. So this time we timed it so we caught the 8:15 park train to Main Street Station. We watched Wishes from the Station and were one of the first ones out!
>During our viewing of Wishes we met a family with a 13 year old special needs child. There was a group of college kids also there and they were so great with him. They sung with him and interacted with him like they knew him forever. Their parents must be so proud.

If anyone has any questions, please ask.

Wow thanx for the tip about the train and watching wishes.

Could you comfortably wear shorts and a t-shirt all day?

Thanks!

Erika, there were days when I had jeans and a t-shirt and brought my sweatshirt and I was comfortable. I think if the wind wasn't such a factor shorts and t-shirts would've been fine during the day. I was so sick of wind by the time I left! Anyway the forecast seems to be getting better, more to where it should be.

What time was Wishes that night? Does anyone know if the train stops running at a certain time before Wishes starts?

Wishes was at 9:00 that night, be advised that they stop the train at 8:30 at Toon Town, so we always caught the last one into Main Street. FYI the trains pulled into the station every 10 minutes or so.

I think I saw them last week, as well...well at least it could very well have been the same woman and dog :) I had a woman with a black lab service animal on my Safari truck. We have a special Mickey leash for them to use :teeth:

Glad you had a wonderful vacation :)
