Thank you so much for posting about your stay and including pictures and details.
If you recall we are doing Great Wolf in PA over Thansgiving, got the discount for two nights and biting the bullet for one. Long story but after moving from our home for all our lives we just didn't want to do Thanksgiving in our new home. We are a close family but decided to take Thanksgiving elsewhere and this seemed like a great option. (I am doing the homecooked Turkey on Sunday afternoon, gotta have that and the leftovers!!)
I LOVED your pictures esp of the water park and your wonderful descriptions. I am considering upgrading from the family suite to one of the cabin suites but dh wants a fireplace. My dd's 10 and 8 would love the bunks with tv- I may call and see what the price difference is....
If you don't mind a couple of specific questions - my dd's love "kids club" type activities, do you remember if some of the activites would interest 10 and 8yo girls? What about the storytelling, while they would not wear PJ's I think they may lke the event, esp my 8yo. Should I consdier splitting up and sending my dh off with my 10 yo and doing the stories with my 8yo?
Any other advice tips and hints are greatly appreciated. I noticed you mentioned towels at the waterpark. Is there a charge for them and or would you recommend brining your own? Can you eat and or drink at the water park and if so can you bring a soft sided cooler?
Thanks again ~~
TJ
You are going to have a blast

The family suite looked really nice (it looks nicer in real life than in the pics I think). My son kept saying how he wished we had a fireplace (go figure!). When I arrived they were still working on the rooms on the first floor with the doors open so we got to peek inside. I honestly didn't see any other kids in the Kids Club when we went. DS was the only child but they do have "make your own t-shirt" and "make your own pillowcase" souveniors for $15 each. I think those are available anytime. Some of the craft ideas seemed like they would be okay for that range though (beach bag, bookmark, picture frame, bear, etc.). I think they will really like the arcade, they have black lights in there and it seemed like most of the kids enjoyed it a lot.
As for the storytime, since it happens immediately following the clock tower show, there were children of all ages there. The story only lasts about 15 minutes and then they can go up and meet "Biko" the bear. The gentleman telling the story was really nice and was great with the children.
The towels are free (as are the life jackets). You can eat in the waterpark and there is a snack bar (and a real bar with adult drinks) in there. The sign to the waterpark entrance said no coolers are allowed so I don't think you could do that. If your cooler looks like a beach bag thing, or if you put it under your patio table you might be okay. I did bring my own water and juice boxes and a few snacks in my beach bag and no one said anything. One thing I did notice, and I could be wrong about it, but they sell beer and the beer bottles appeared to be glass from a distance. That made me nervous since everyone walks around barefoot, but they could've been really shiny plastic.
I forgot to mention that upon checkout they gave us a CD with the songs from the clock tower show on it. It's a cute CD and the songs remind me of songs you would hear at Disney. DS makes me turn it on everytime we are in the car, so I'm actually getting sick of it at this point LOL
I also forgot to mention there is a gift shop too and I thought it was pretty reasonably priced. I was able to get a t-shirt and cap that was bundled together for DS, a large pencil, a photo frame magnet and an activity book for $19.xx total, so I thought that was pretty good.
