Just back from DW.didn't get picked by the Dream Team, but....

Hi all~

We just got back from Disney World and had a great time. We didn't get picked by the Dream Team....didn't even see them, but we still got some extra pixie dust.

On my son's birthday, he got picked to be Pirate of the Day.... He received a special pirate hat, hook and a bag of treasure....after finding it on his treasure hunt. He also got a special certificate.

Later that day, he received his lunch for free.

We had reservations at Chef Mickey's for his birthday dinner and I had special ordered a Mickey Head birthday cake. When we paid the check the waiter said that the cake was on them.

He also, got to ride in the front of the monorail.....All of this on his birthday...he was beaming!

Before we had to leave we were also chosen as Flag Family of the day. The view was breathtaking.


Just wanted to let everyone know that the pixie dust is flying.

How was he chosen to be the Pirate of the Day? Did he do one of the pirate cruises?

So happy for your son. Couldn't ask for more magic!!
I am taking DGD on her birthday. Got the "it's my birthday" tee shirt. Will get the "IMB" pin at parks. Any other tips on getting her some pixie dust? Thrilled just thinking about it!!

We had just rode Pirates of the Carribean and was looking in the gift shop....a pirate came up to him and asked if he wanted to go on a treasure hunt...it was really cool.

We just got back as well. No dream prizes, but we were picked as the Tower of Terror "first family" last wednesday. We got the first rid on the TT all by ourselves. It was great.
