Just back from CSR

We loved it!!! Stayed in Casitas 4, right near the bus stop. The quiet pool was really great, right around the corner from our room. We even got to swim with a duck, yep a duck! My DD(8) and I were swimming around the pool when we saw a duck walk right in and float around!! It got out after a few minutes but my DD thought it was soo cool!!

Our one problem was that bell services put our luggage in the wrong room, so we spent a day and a half wondering where ME had put it (which was my first though since it is such a new service). The manager gave us a credit for the gift shop so that we could get some clothes and then they found out where our luggage was later in the day. I guess it was directly 2 floors above us in an unoccupied room.....

I loved the theme of the resort, it was so peaceful!!! The main pool was really nice too, although we only spent a short time there. We ate at the Maya Grill, which we all enjoyed, and at the Pepper Market on the day of our departure.

I would definately stay there again, although I'd like to try out others just to see what they are like. I was completely satisified with CSR!!!!

We were in Casitas 4. Actually I think its a really good location. Like you say right by the bus and not far from anything else you need.

It sounds like we were in a similar room, round the corner from the pool.

We liked it so much we have requested the same area for our next holiday.

We are going in August for a meeting my husband has, and I want to stay in Casitas. It sounds perfect. Buzz, or anyone else, do you know if or where the suites are located. Are they in casitas or just spread out?

So funny about the duck. We noticed that at the Cabanas quiet pool, every time around sundown there were two ducks that ALWAYS got in and swam around. They seem to like it much more than the lagoon. Also, at Cabanas we saw a female turtle crawl onto the beach and lay eggs! I wonder what happened to those eggs, b/c after the turtle left they put orange cones around the area. Wonder if they moved them, I was afraid people might step on them.

We also enjoyed CSR back in November. I think the only thing we didn't like were the double beds as opposed to queen size and the hardness of them. But, we loved everything else.
