AMG, I've only stayed at CSR once and I had a wonderful time. That was a few years ago. Was the pool bar open during your stay? How did you like the pool? Do you have any photos to share of your stay?

To Adznyfan, please check out the Dreams Unlimited Travel's "Around the World in 30 Days Tour" webpage that is devoted to the CSR: click here to view it. And if you check out their other webpage, you'll find a working link to video footage that they shot at the resort: clcik here to view DU's other CSR webpage. I think that will be a good place for you to start planning your upcoming trip. Enjoy!

Transporatation is awesome at CSR. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus in August. I never had to stand either. For families with children Cabanas 9A or 9B is a good location due to its proximity to the Digsite Pool and short walk to El Centro.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I came back from Disney with great memories, my daughter came back with Mono.

She is doing better now but this is the first I have had to get to my computer.

Well, enough about me. To answer your questions:

The Coronado was beautiful. I would stay again in a minute. It is very large so I agree with epcotfan and stay in the Cabana's. That is where we stayed and it was great.

A short walk to the lobby and restaurants and well as the gift shop. Although they have wonderful bus service.......never had to wait long for the bus. They have 4 pick up spots so even if you are at the far end you don't have to walk far.

The pool and bar were open. They had the pools heated although not heated enough for me. I chose the hot tub. YUM!!

The resort is very similar to the Carebean Beach Resort which was closed otherwise I would have stayed there. I'm glad I stayed at the Coronado, Southwestern Theme.

If I can get my scanner to work I will post some pictures.

Hope this helped, have a great holiday everyone.
