Hi,
We are just back from a quick but very nice trip to WDW. Stayed at All-Stars Sports for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Our room had obviously been recently refurbished and smelled "new" when we walked in. Brand new bed comforters, carpet - very clean. I love a re-furbed room!
We were in building 6 (Surf's Up) on the third floor overlooking woods/playground. Great location! Quiet but close to pool and to the food court and buses. Didn't have time to try out the pool. Food court was good and not that crowded. Plenty of seating!! CM's wee very nice. Had excellent bus service - never waited longer than 10 minutes.
Although I was not expecting much as I thought I would miss POFQ and have stayed at several deluxes; I have to say, I would stay here again, no problem... in fact I just called to make a reservation for All-Star Sports for a December trip!
Weather was beautiful on Saturday (after waking up to rain). It stayed cloudy and cool most of day but no rain!! Crowds were not bad at all until around noon. Sunday was hot and humid.
Glad to answer any questions, if you have them!
