It was an interesting trip made more complex due to changing rooms four times. We didn't have quite enough points for a one bedroom for 8 days, so we stayed in a studio for three (over the weekend).
The first room was clean but had huge dust balls all over the carpet and the vacuum cleaner was still sitting in the hall. The living room had cereal and other bit of stuff on it. We had housekeeping come and take care of it. However it is a little disappointing to find your "home away from home" messy.
We then moved to the studio over by the hospitality house. It was fine. The final move was back to a one bedroom. We were surprised and disappointed that it was a handicap access room. Roll in shower, the only door to the bathroom is through the bedroom, shorter sinks etc. I called and complained and they moved is to another unit but suggested I list that when I make a room request. Have you ever heard of requesting a non-handicapped room?
I now have a much greater appreciation for traveling in the off-season. Fewer points, fewer people, less heat and less rain.
