Just back :) enjoyed my time!

I just got back from WDW, I really enjoyed my time there. I didn't find the crowds to be that bad, and the weather was until about Thursday when the weather started to get hotter. FP+ was awesome, I was worried I would not like it because of all the complaints I have read here.. but I found that I had a very successful trip and was able to do everything I wanted and then some.

~I totally agree with you -- I think FP+ is awesome, too! I noticed, you've got a ticker for AKL CL next year. We are Poly CL transplants but we thoroughly enjoyed our AKL CL visits -- they were fabulous!

~AKL is such a gorgeous resort and I just love that pool. I am so tempted to book another stay here, lol! Anyway, I can't wait for our vacation!

I actually need to take that ticker out since that ticker was for the trip I just finished! I loved the club level at AKL, and I know that next time I go (which won't be for another two years or so..) I want to try the GF (not sure about CL since it's so expensive to stay there!) or Poly! or Beach Club.. but I'm pretty sure GF is the one on my choices of where to stay next Next year we are going on a Disney Cruise.

A lot of magical things happened on this trip, so it makes me want to go back! But I feel like going every few years makes it more enjoyable because things tend to change a bit in a few years [we may hold off going until the new land is open at AK, not sure yet.]

That's great! We're the same, we don't go very often, so we don't feel as dissatisfied as the regulars do when things change. Everything seems new again when you haven't been for a few years.

We have an upcoming trip later this year, and then don't plan to be back until after Avatarland opens. We too are going to save and do either Grand Floridian or the new Polynesian Village!

I was there last week too, had a great time. The only FP+/magic band glitch we had was when we checked into WL and got the dining plan, it only worked on the band of the person whose name was on the room. We went back to the front desk and got it fixed.

Here now and just added extra fastpasses to TSMM for later tonight. Passes were added at 7:23 pm. Don't think that pixie dust would have ever happened under the old fastpass system.

Glad to hear a good report. I'm looking forward to FP+ and the MagicBand. I think it will make planning so much easier!

~Wow, have fun on your Disney cruise! I think it's good to take a break from Disney -- absence makes the heart grow fonder, lol! We only go once a year for a week -- if I had my way it would be for 5 nights/6 days! The Grand Floridian sounds lovely, too. It's never too soon to start planning!

I too just got back yesterday. I had a good time. The crowds weren't too bad except for the 24 hour event at Magic Kingdom. I loved having the Magic Bands.
