Just back-7 nites @ CSR!!!

We just got back from a 7 nite stay at CSR. We went to all 4 parks plus Blizzard Beach. I will be glad to answer any questions anyone has. We had a great time!!! Perfect!!

I am glad you had a good time. I initially had some misgivings about trying CSR but the more I read, the more it sounds like I've made the right decision.

Which section did you stay in? Was it a specific request? Did you have any kids with you and how did they like the pool? Also did you find this resort to spread out?

I'm not requesting any specific section, will I be sorry?

I requested a Cabanas Room that was not a parking lot view. We were put in Cabanas 9a with a courtyard view, which was fine. We weren't in the room long enough for it to matter what kind of view we had. It was great. We went to the parks each morning at early entry and stayed until 1:30-2:30. Went back to the hotel, ate a sandwich in the room(rented the fridge) and then headed to the pool until supper. After supper, we would either go back to a park or let my DD 6 yo go back to the pool around 7:00. Most of our pool time was spent at the quiet pool-the one at our building. The only time we went to the big pool was when my daughter was to play on the slide. It was always too crowded to play around in and our quiet pool never had too many-only a few. The pools were great. We only had a very short walk to ElCentro and the Pepper Market. From what I had read, I was dreading the walking-but it was not bad at all. None of us had a problem with it and actually walked it several times a day to refill the mugs. The breakfast wasn't too good but the lunch/dinner was fine. We found the rotissiere chicken and stir fry to be the best. And also the buffalo chicken sandwich at the Siesta Bar.

Thanks for the info! I arrive at the CSR on August 1. I am glad to hear such a positive review. How was the bus service?

We are so ready to be there, it isn't funny. It's my favorite resort. I don't think there's a nicer view out there than looking at El Centro across the water at night.

Great resort. There are many at WDW but CSR is perfect for me.

We didn't use the bus service. We had our car. If you have a car, I suggest using it. It was great driving. We parked within the first 3 rows at all parks each morning. However, we arrived for early entry on the day a park was offering that. And at the hotel, parking was great. We parked right at the sidewalk at our building. I was really impressed with everything. And all cast members were great!!!
