Marie What Wikipedia says about haggis is right it is mostly eaten at breakfast or tea time as part of a fry up. There is a lot of spice in it so it is quite peppery. Most of the time now it comes sliced about 3 inches round by about half inch thick it is good on a buttered roll It can be good with whisky but after two or three drams the haggis starts to spoil the taste. The only time you really see it in the round version is in a reel old traditional butchers shop or on the run up to burns night which is still going strong
At least it sounds tasty when you talk about it.
