I love listening to other languages, even if I don't fully understand them. XD

I have 2 songs in Japanese (both Disney.) and my brother says it's devil music. :rotfl:

I have the Ghost Host in Japanese from one of my HM CD's xD

It's so awesome. I played it for the Japanese kid on my boat this summer :P

okay im gonna try to jump in here *jumps into conversation*

 Read through all the pages at last :p Thought i'd give a random tidbit of information.

As you walk towards Expedition Everest, you'll come across 2 telescopes on either side of a plaque showing the Himilayas. If you look through the telescope, you'll find that they focus on the peak of a mountain next to the tallest one. That is Mount Everest. The tallest peak you see is the Forbidden Mountain, and it's to give the mountain range more depth, and a stronger sense of distance (also known as forced perspective, used throughout Walt Disney World). The story goes that you're travelling to Mount Everest, and you're setting up base on the Forbidden Mountain before heading on, but you never make Everest... You're lucky to get back alive with that Yeti after you!

Wow! You read through the whole thread George?! That's awesome xD

Great facts! I didn't know that, actually... :D

Wow your a quick reader! Thanks for that info, really interesting!

Here's a picture through the telescope:

I learnt about it in the Hidden Magic of the Walt Disney World Resort. It's a book that goes through the different areas in the parks and tells you about the things you normally wouldn't notice. I believe it's a guidebook aimed for those who want to stop and smell the roses. I used it a lot on my trip.

I think the Animal Kingdom is probably the best themed park in Walt Disney World. Expedition Everest is also probably the best decorated ride, and queue. There are references to the Yeti everywhere. Just the Mandir temple (the red building in line that has the bells hanging) has around 1,000 references to the Yeti! Not only that, but the building wasn't made by WDI. It's an original temple from Nepal that was shipped and built in Animal Kingdom.

That's crazy!

And I totally agree AK is easily the best themed park in WDW. Totally a step in the right direction for Imagineering, just a few steps down from DisneySeas [but it came before it] and yet miles above DCA [came before it].

It's also my favorite park, and I wish we'd spent more than a handful of hours in it but we had a ressie at 50's PT that night.

speaking of cool ak things, if you're walking away from asia in ak early in the morning after the ground has been washed, when you're right at the exit of asia, look on the ground. the cracks in the concrete form a hidden mickey that can only be seen when water is flowing down the hill.
