Just a Dream Away- The Imagineering Thread*Are you curious, imaginative, dedicated?

DAk gives me the idea of going on an adventure...to explore the wilderness and see strange lands... so yeah Lol

So who else trully, and I mean trully, believes in wishing upon a star?

I want to be able to say yes, but I'm a bit of a Tiana, I believe more in the power of hard work. (Which being a procrastinator is hilariously ironic.. but still)

I've always been more of a Tiana.

Even when I was little I never wished on a star.

I'm thinking Magic Kingdom. DAK seems a bit too wild if you know what I mean.

As sketchy as that phrase is, I've got to agree.

Yeah... Unless they make a a foresty-type area. Temperate forest? That's where all the woodland animals live. It could take the place of Camp Minnie-Mickey. Sure that's where Beastly Kingdom is/was going to go, but I believe it probably won't get built, especially since the Yeti's over in Asia and Beastly Kingdom was going to be on mythological animals. Also, there's not really much left over in that area other then Festival of the Lion King (which could be moved over to Africa I guess) and the Greeting Trails (which could be moved just about anywhere).

You know, I could see it in Camp Minnie Mickey as that is a bit of temperate forest area, and it would be nice to get an actual attraction there (I've never been in that land).

I'm still surprised at how many DISers don't know about the FL Expansion.

There should be a sticky on the TPAS boards that says "Fantasyland Expansion! Toontown disappearing! Starts this year!" or something, so then everyone will know.

They could remodel the area into Europe maybe? Looking in my Biology book, it's pretty much covered with forest and woodlands. Then you could have a Bambi ride, and a Fox & the Hound ride. Now that I think of it, the continent themed areas don't have any rides based on Disney characters... Maybe add a water ride themed around the Loch Ness Monster, although maybe the Yeti is enough for mythological creatures in the park. Or they could add in a dragon themed ride, seeing as how dragons are in a lot of European stories.

Eh, I think they could keep it Camp Minnie Mickey.

The forest vibe of Bambi would echo well with the camp setting, actually.

Of course, I'd just gut the whole thing and put Beastly Kingdomme in. :p

Maybe they could use the Pocahontas & her Forest Friends area for a Bambi ride. I actually haven't been in Camp Minnie-Mickey since about 2002 maybe? I'll make sure to go in there this year, due just to see the dragon rock formation. I don't really care for the Festival of the Lion King, but I don't remember it.

On the topic of continents, they should make Australasia. I would love that. I want to see koalas, and kangaroos, and platypuses (platypi? Platypeople? Oh, you know what I mean), and so on. Have a ride set in the Outback. Maybe make a replica of Ayers Rock?

Brainstorming is fun!

I'd assume they'd start working in the 20K area first, and maybe close Toontown in September when attendence is low.

How about a large America themed area ( or North america and south america)

Africa Asia
North America
Discover Island
Australia
South America Oasis Dinoland U.S.A.
I know its odd but I hope you can figure out how i tried to show the location of the lands.

North America- Pocahontas water (raft ride or flume ride?). Bambi. Fox and the Hound.
South America- LLAMAS BABY! :D. Rainforest expedition? Caribbeansomething? Angel falls-Kevin the snape thingy.
Australia- Outback adventure thing.

:rotfl: Don't you just love my descriptions?

Fine, ignore my continent :snooty:

That reminds me of a random plan I came up with for a zoo that involved the animal compounds divided into each continent and set up sort of like a map of the world.

Sorry but modern Europe is nothing like the forest it once was...
