Just a Dream Away- The Imagineering Thread*Are you curious, imaginative, dedicated?

and then for Christmas it could be transformed into Christmastown :)

I would say add the NBC overlay to the Haunted Mansion in WDW, but it was already supposed to happen and didn't, so I don't see it happening anytime soon, and just having it in DLR and TDL makes it more special.

Imagine an Easter overlay of Main Street. That could be... Interesting...

I wouldn't mind seeing more decorations around all the parks. Seems MK was the only one with Halloween decorations when I went. Actually, it was the only one...

Well I believe DHS at the VERY least should have Halloween decs. I mean the Tower of Terror plaza area would be peerrrfect.

Plus, there is that whole Disney's Horrorwood Studios concept they've tossed around. It doesn't need to be hard-core universal style scares, but a little creep factor could be quite good.

Not sure if i've already mentioned this, but there's a rumour on the News & Rumours board that Sounds Dangerous is going to be replaced by some Phineas & Ferb. How awesome would that be?

Gah!
I want concept art now so badly! :p

I'lll just satiate my need for Disney knowledge by reading about HKDL.

I got nothing.

Then again, you are my leading UK expert sooooo care to elaborate? :p

The Neverland is freakin awesome though... very detailed.

Don't worry. My sister couldn't spot the mistake either...

I would love to see some of those incorporated into some Disney parks, but doesn't look likely, as it's Michael Jackson's own ideas (I think?) Maybe Disney could buy the idea and make it's WDW's 5th gate :teeth:

Second page. For shame!

News in the past 5 days... Hmm...

They're filming for the christmas parade already in Disneyland. They had 2 special guests this year that may appear in the parks next year (hopefully!)

Walls have come down at Space Mountain. Still hate the new green logo. The would-be fountain looks to have become a large planter. Disney released 2 pictures from the new queue.

Disney Park's official mobile app came out today. Notice that they've used the earful tower as the logo for DHS... Signs that the hat may disappear?

The Tiana Showboat Jamboree premiered in Disneyland a few days ago.

Lights of Winter, the dancing archway in Epcot, have officially been cancelled about 25 mins ago? They're being replaced with a gospel choir.

let's see who can think up the best attraction with these items:
-Monsters Inc. theme
-Location in DHS...right between pixar place and that horrible backlot tour entrance
-no roller coasters.
-it cannot already exist. (ie the hide and go seek or the dark ride in DCA)
have fun! :goodvibes

Ahh, I was thinking "well obviously a rollercoaster based on the doors sequence" then noticed you said no rollercoasters... I'll have to think on that.

i said no roller coaster because of the rumor of a ride exactly like you said

Yeah, plus it's the most obvious ride to make.

I know, a simulator based on the doors scene :p Just how to do it is the question... Also whether you're stuck on the door and you go around, or whether you can break free from the door (thanks to Randall's doing or course) and end up in people's rooms. Not sure really. I'll have to think harder about it.

why not a monster's inc. monster training facility fun house. just putting something out there. that's actually a pretty open idea. please add on if you want to.
