Jurassic Park coaster

This coaster looks gigantic. I'm surprised by the lack of excitement on this board for it. Its going to be everything Hagrids isn't. More intense and inversions.

I wonder if chatter will pick up once Universal actually puts some info out on it, there are a few different threads on this topic and 1 person actually has a live feed up from a surveillance cam at there home nearby.

Is it definitely a Jurassic park coaster or is it just assumed because it's within that area?
If so, I'm just wondering how they're going to make it "dinosaur themed" - perhaps a VR ride with a headset like they have at either Busch Gardens or SeaWorld? (Apologies, I can't remember which of the 2 parks has the vr)

Its definitely a Jurrasic Park coaster. Its not going to be VR but have rock formations you go by and some inside areas the train goes through. The most part of it will be like a regular coaster with no theming. Its not a coaster the whole family will ride like Hagrids. It will have high speed launches and 5 inversions.

It's because Universal hasn't said a single thing about it. It's funny you can now clearly see a coaster going up, but they haven't announced what it is officially (even though we all know it's the jurrasic park coaster). But it's hard to get excited about something when we know nothing about it outside of pictures of steel beams and some tracks

Anyone know any theories about why they haven't even announced it yet. As y'all said, construction is obvious and it is well known. Why have they not announced anything? It seems odd, but I'm not very knowledgable on such things. Maybe it will be incorporated with an overhaul to Jurassic World?

Aaah amazing, thank you ☺️

I assume too many other distractions with COVID etc...

They've stopped announcing info about new rides until much closer to actual opening. Just like Hagrid's ride, they didn't officially announce the ride or any details about it until like 2 months before it opened, even through construction on it had been evident and visible for a long time before it.

The prevailing thought has been that they don't want to announce things too early in the chance that people put off vacations/visits to wait for a newly announced major attraction.

Ric Flix had a recent video that said it will reach speeds of 70 mph & have multiple inversions. Not sure who his sources are but it definitely appears to be a thrill coaster & is definitely in the Jurassic Park area.

ive heard its gonna be at least 75 mph beating out mako for fastest coaster in central florida
