Jungle cruise strategy

Anybody have any tips on the Jungle Cruise game? So far the highest score I've gotten is around 35,000. I just can't figure out how people are hitting over 50,000.

Does anyone know why I keep running out of film?

Basically, the amount of points you get depends on how lucky you are with the fuel and film drops.
That being said, some animals are worth more points than others...

You probably have done this -- but look at your photos after your game. You will see the little birds are more points.
I don't recall what my highest score has been. But I would guess I am like what you are doing.

One time I ran out of film and I was driving over film but it still said out of film??? I don't like that game. I only played it twice

yaa i noticed the little birds were worth more to, so I use more photos on them than on say the lions
