June trippers,all packed and ready?

hehe,I'm sooo not! I still have to finish buying clothes(decided on NOT buying a new swimsuit )clean and organize our cabin(someone is taking care of our 3 legged cat)get haircut and color,get pedicure(free coupon),get facial(my treat to myself after the cancelling of balcony),transport all our junk to our storage space,make another p/s for the sat night,possibly order a basket,find out about groceries for d/l,and various other errands to get our place cat ready So are you all done,if not what type of things to you still need to get done? I can't believe it's coming up sooo fast and I've left everything to the last 3 weeks of course...

I still have a (almost) month (a month from today will be our first day at DL!!! But we get to Cali before) . . . I will likely not start packing/getting ready until the week before. We are usually last minute packers, but have to plan for leaving for the summer to go home too (a little while after getting back from DL). . . . It makes it more difficult to do things too early too because DH is working until the day before, and I have classes until the day before we leave too!

So we have everything left to do - pack, clean house (it is clean now, but I always do a thorough cleaning before I leave out of town).

Shoot I'm still trying to get the hotel reserved! EEEKKK!!! Hojo's didn't let me get the great Entertainment book rate, only offered 10% off with it. Which I can get pretty much the same price at like Hotels.com. So I am back to square one. Trying to get a hotel this late in the game is not easy at decent prices!

I think I'm heading to the mall today, got a few more tops to buy,couple bras and undies,maybe another sundress and some sandles to match, then I should be done with the clothes part. The cleaning is another story..yuck One room 400 square foot cabins can get very cluttered!!!!!

Oh yeah see I did the whole clothes thing for last years trip, so I'm still okay I think!

But I booked a hotel, Carousel Inn. Thank God, I was so sick of looking at hotel rooms! LOL

I had the hotel room booked last July! BEFORE any announcement of the Nemo opening!
And yes, I'm packing . . .suitcases are out, lists are made . . .and get this . . .I already did a "dry run" packing the car with the empty suitcases so I could see where everything would fit! How hopeless am I?

I don't have anything done yet, I have all of our bath products bought and some snacks to take for the airport and long flight, but nothing for clothing. My daughter is so pickey and expects to wear the same 2 pairs of shorts the entire trip. No matter what I buy her, she won't wear anything else!!!

When we went to WDW I was packed almost a month in advance..It was my first time..Going to DL..I pack a few days before...
I usually don't get excited until I get the itinerary in the mail...

Like many others, I have suitcases out and lists made. We decided we're going to fly from Sacramento so I just got a few of those neon pink straps and luggage tags. I HAVE to bring a play yard for the baby so I'm looking for a "suitcase" thing to put it in and then I'll just check it.
We're all getting so excited (even though we went 3 times during the 50th)...I even got a little jealous after reading about the gal home from her 10 day trip...we're only doing 3!

OH MY GOODNESS! 2 Weeks to go and I have so much to do yet....

- Reconfirm our dinner and lunch reservations at the Blue Bayou, Goofy's, Rainforest Cafe etc.

- Call the hotel to make sure I get a 3rd floor room

- Print out our electronic plane tickets and shuttle vouchers

- Buy suntan lotion, ankel socks, jeans, and a few shirts (Disney of course) from Walmart, new carry on piece of luggage, DVD disks for my video camera, Batteries for my digital camera

- Go take out US cash (As im coming from a different country)

- Get Travel Insurance

- Pay some bills so I dont come back to a stack of them

- Get pet food for my house sitter while she watches my dear friends

We only went twice last year... I have never done a 10 day trip...I think it would be fun...because you would have time to enjoy the non park things like the pools etc...and..relaxing in your room..that you usually don't do because you are so rushed ...

Any day that you get there is great, even if its only a few days, thats nothing to sneeze at. We bought 8 day hoppers and then purchased an extra day to make it 9 days in the park for our June trip, just so we can spend some time at the hotel swimming or going to other locations in the area but having the luxury of going back to catch some rides and attractions in the evening.

we have 13 days till our trip!! we have our suitcases out and am mostly packed, not sure what type of jacket to pack ? it's our first trip and it was a surprise... have fun everyone ! I'll try not to forget my lime green mickey head....
