COLD weather due on Sunday for DD's return to the Windy City.
it rained all day here, but it's still warmer than normal.

Happy Belated Birthday Bug!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

2012 is going to be a great year for everyone. I can feel it.;) And as MKY said, it has to be better!+

I would love to hear about pin codes for July! I am gonna need to check out every e-mail address I have to see if one popped in someplace!

Have a great New Year everyone!party:

Happy New Year! 2012!

EE22, we are going over everyone's spring break  :scared1:
March is c r a z y !! But, might be our last march. Our work request used to go march to march, now will be jan to jan > so looking forward to maybe april or may? Would love it a bit warmer, and less rain. Not to mention away from spring break [and hopefully easter crowds].

TP2, does this mean you are looking into July? not august?

Tomar, hoping your cold is doing better.

Candi, sorry about your PC. Sorry santa didn't send you a new one.
I wanted a tablet but, will have to shop for that myself. ;)

JMouse, Hope things are better at work.

Planning wise, we looked over our adr's again today and thinking about a couple of adjustments. But, any changes would be in the "new" policy. We had a few buffets but seems the prices are really outrageous for some of these. And with just adults > you really don't get that much character interaction. Most just autograph and picture > move on...... I can see paying $$$ for citrico's or the tea's but 40.00 each for 1900 parke faire, not that interested in, nor would we eat that much. I would rather pay for a nice [quiet ] meal.

Did you guys see the "big" announcement. leap year 24hrs and the free day thing. We do fit over the time a couple of days but, it would knock me off of the last ap rate > and I doubt i can get a better deal than that right now > if I changed to some kind of 3 day package. For march I have an ap rate at CR that starts for us on march 8th > but that is the last day of the offer. Somehow it went for our whole 2 weeks, although I thought they stopped doing that. It went through the computer so I booked it and haven't looked back. ;) Its a great deal I pulled for the 2 weeks. {prime time} :wizard:

So any other planning info?

Had to post this here. This is my 5000 th posting on these boards. :hyper2: shows either how long I have been on here or I have a very limited life. :lmao:

I actually have more, I was on here earlier and thru different computers / email addresses and forgetting my passwords > wound up with starting over. :confused3

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Bears even won.

Feeling better mky :cutie:..thank you for asking !!
Congrats on your 5000th post !....:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
About the new promo- I think that the AP rate is the best offer ....Id stick with it !! :flower3:
Yes...the buffet pricing is becoming really out of this world ...for that reason ,Mr. Tomar and I have been doing the DDP for the last year, and will again this year with the Kiddos coming down for a week !!:goodvibes
Besides the TS meal, its gives a QS option and snack as well...We enjoyed the variety of it last summer..;)
The only thing we have to concentrate on is ....NOT getting charged the $10.00 penalty fee if we have to cancel an ADR less then 24 hours in advance , or are a minute late arriving at a restaurant ! UGH ! :scared1:

MKY: Congrats to you on 5000 posts. I am WAYYYYY behind!!!

Dh has a friend that is looking to rent out his points for DVC so we are working on that but still don't have a week. He is only asking $800 for the week for a 2 bedroom unit at the Boardwalk. I have no clue how that is working but I will take it. Bonus trip to the world that we were not counting on. Not sure if we will have any cash with me being out of work so we may just be driving down and eating pizza all week! I don't really care. We only have one park ticket too, left over from a package a few years ago. I think I am going to look into the tickets that you buy that are connected to classes. Have to look into those though.

Tomar: So happy to see that the kids are coming down again. I agree aboout the DP. That was the big downside for me with renting the unit. We cannot get the DP. I of course like the DP for free because it costs us $220 per day for the plan. We shall see. Seems like a lot but maybe if I get a job we will just suck it up. Otherwise, with a 2 bedroom we will have a kitchen so we can easily make a couple of meals to offset the food cost.

Yes but we may go and just sit by the pool. Still will be fun. Can go to DTD, mini golf, restaurants, plenty of stuff to do without really hitting the parks. We shall see. As we have cash we will buy more.

TP2- I think a day "doing nothing at Disney" :woohoo:...is sooo much better than even one busy day at home !! :crazy2:
Mr. Tomar and I love to sit by the pool, and since we will be at same resort , we may be basking in the same ray of sun !!! :goodvibes:beach::goodvibes
The Mini golf is just a walk away over the bridge, and honestly, just "Streetmosphere" on the boardwalk some nights.... is fun !! :goodvibes

So no DW for us this year. I guess he sold his points to someone in the family during the break.:scared1: I guess it just was not meant to be this year. Hope everyone else has a wonderful trip though.:goodvibes

Hiya everyone, :yay:

Thanks everyone for the congrat's. I hadn't even realized I had so many. Post a little on transport board and theme park board, but most are from years ago, now its pretty much just here. ;)

TP2, OOOoooooohhhhh, I am sooooooooooooooooo sorry. That was a bad "teaser". Sorry your all dissappointed. I agree with tomar, that was a super deal. You never know, something could show up. Are you entering that contest they got going?

Tomar, glad your feeling a little better. Your right. I would certainly sit at a wdw resort all day and not do parks. No problem. You still have all the things we don't always have time for. Or feel guilty for doing and "wasting park time". ;) That great atmosphere. Ugh........ :wizard: Oh yeah.

EE22, Totally weird weather. 10 degrees yesterday and today 40. :confused3 At least I was off and NO RAIN finally. :)
