Tomar, Ooooh that sounded good. Send leftovers. Yes, I kinda went way over with xmas this year. But, it seems to keep mom more orientated. She can tell what season it is.

One more day till the weekend. I can't wait. Work has been so tiring lately. I think its cause its dark when I go, and dark half hour after I get home. But, we are in double digits now and that is something to celebrate.

Hi everyone

The new job is going well. I was busier this week and will be really busy next week and I am looking forward to that.

The trip for March is still a go! I keep reminding them about my plans for next year and so everyone is very much aware of them.

MKY - can we try to plan something together while we are both at Disney? We will be there from the 11th to the 20th. Let me know what you might like to do.

Hiya everyone!

Whew, been busy here this past week. I kept thinking, I am not a good friend, cause I didn't have time to check in here, or even boot up my computer. And I see, I didn't miss anything.

Work is busy, busy. Flu is on the down slide [yeah!] but RSV is on the rise. Always something to look forward to.

Christmas is on schedule so far. Its snowing here, and I wrapped last nite, did xmas cards, and am almost done completely. Mom, is doing much better. I think it is the holidays. Keeps her orientated so much better. I will have to decorate for all the holidays now?

EE22, You made the chicago news today! Said Iowa could get 2 feet of snow and its heading this way. Looks like a giant wall of snow, on the map. Look out Candi, your next. > Then send it to tp2 & tomar.

Candi, yes we definately overlap. Should be able to hook up. Will have to check our plans togther. Glad the job is working out. I give you credit for the big change.

Tomar & Tp2 looks like you guys have had some snow already too. At least with the snow, we don't see the dead grass, with the bare trees, and old left over leaves.

I watched the travelchannels disney xmas show. Showing the putting up of trees, and all the decorations. They had these huge semi's on main street. looks like the come in on the side, like where the little alley / new orleans street is. Had lots of crains, and many many people all working like crazy. It was really cool to see it.

Well, we were dumped on. They called off school yesterday around 7 pm so I missed the morning news so I have no idea how much snow we have, but it's blowing like no other outside. DH is home...they even said no work for them. That's only happened 1-2 times in 24 years in Iowa. Some guy that works for DH rode his bike to workcrazy!!

If you were watching the weather channel and saw Johnston, IA that Hilton Garden Inn is the hotel we stayed in when we would compete in the state Olympic meetstoo much snow!!

I hit Walmart yesterday before the snow started so I made lemon poppyseed bread and two kinds of cookies. We are well fed at least.

Glad you are under 100 mky for your trip!! and spring is coming! doesn't look too great outside right now.

WDW does it up right for the holidays. We did cancel the trip for sure. Airfare is just too high and it would be so crowded when we would be there.

I am sure I'll go stir crazy today. I wonder if we will even have school tomorrow. It's nasty outside.

Hi Everyone No snow for us yet but tons of rain and wind. It is nasty outside. Today is definately a pajama day.

Been real busy here too MKY. I have wrapped, decorated, shopped. Now I have to clean. I was so busy doing the other stuff that the house has gotten gross.

MKY: Just to keep you updated, the pulmunologist put DD5 on Singulair, Flovent 2 puffs 2x per day, and Xopenex puffer as needed. He wants her on the Sigulair and the Flovent all year. He said she can take a break in the summer if she is feeling okay. But after seeing how her coloring is changing I am thinking that maybe she should use it in the summer too. Her coloring was awful when we were in Florida last summer. She was taking Nasacort and she felt good, but she looked awful. Her dark patches were not just under her eyes but through her cheeks. Doctor said that is from her allergies. She did not get any color from the sun, she just looked gray. You live and you learn. I am glad we went to the pulmunologist, I see a change in her already.

EE22: I can't even imagine how much snow you have. It is all over the news. One of the kids I watch is at the doctor right now, she has a rash all over her back. I could use a day to myself. I have been running non stop since Halloween!

Hi Guys !
Well, here I am ...nursing a Broncial Infection again !!....Taking Augmentin and the Liquid Xopenex on the Nebulizer twice a day ....I am soooo mad at myself , cause I have tooo much to do...to be sick again...ICK !!.....I realize that today was very nasty here (not like NASTY in the Field of dreams of course)...but Id much rather be out shopping than takeing meds and drinking tea.....

EE22- Ive been watching your weather report since last night...YIKES !...I am so sorry that your sooooooo snowed it like that ....the Cookies and Poppyseed bread sound Yummy

TP2- Hi !!!...thinking about ya, and was hoping that DD5 was feeling better !!...Ive taken all the meds that you mentioned ...except the singular.....I hope she does better and better. ....The Rain we had last night was Horrendous !!!!....Mr. Tomar was out this morning picking up all the trash that fell out of the pail when the wind blew it down...ick !!

MKY- I just read your post ...and stopped on the word..."Spring"........I know we have a WHOLE winter to get through...but Im hoping your trip comes up FAST(not only for you and Bug) ...but...because it will be the beginning of Spring ...yes

EE22, So sorry about the snow. We got your high winds and snow today too. Its moving northeast so we hope it goes more north soon. Look out candi. Very nice pic of ryan. Wow, your right he will be at college soon.

TP2, so glad DD is doing better. Meds sound good. And sounds like you got her a good MD. I take my singulair year round too. It has definately made a difference.

Tomar, Yes, keep thinking only 3 months we hit march ...... . Sorry, your sick again. Take it easy and big bowl of chicken soup.

Hi everyone.

EE22 - sorry you are so snowed in. We have the high winds today. I am betting the snow is right behind it.

We lost power at work around 3:30pm and after 45 minutes, we packed it in and went home for the day. It is one advantage to not running production yet. It should be back up and running in the morning. We start our new software project tomorrow and I don't want to miss it.

TP2 - I hope DD continues to do better.

Tomar - feel better soon!

MKY - I need to look at TGM to make our final plans for the days we are there. Once you have your days planned, let me know and we can pick something to do.

I hope everyone stays warm and be careful if you venture onto the roads!

Hi Everyone...what a week. 3 days lost to snow. Tuesday we should have been at school and I questioned Thursday, but after driving around last night...I am not any longer. It ranked as the 3rd worst storm state wide in Iowa and the last one that was this bad was 30+ years ago. Friday was not fun at work with missing three days and then I played chicken with a bus...that was fun...I lost in my Mazda of course, but it didn't end the afternoon well.

BUT!! we went to Princess and the Frog. It was very good I wouldn't put it in the same category at The Lion King, but it's still a great movie. I was having a hard time figuring out the story line before the movie, but now it all clear.

Stay Warm. It's wicked cold here.

Feeling much better, (thanks to taking meds and resting all week)...I went out today for the first time since Ive been sick...it was FREEZING ...but the fresh air felt good !!

EE22- YIKES ...so sorry about the snow storm...Looks like the field of dreams is socking it to ya again this winter....Stay warm ! And....and Pleeease....be careful driving in the snow !!!
Glad you enjoyed "The Princess and the Frog"....I finally saw "Bolt" on cable the other night...it was very cute !

Freezing is right...we have freezing rain.
We warmed today into the 20's and now 32...hovering anyway...feels like a heat wave. When the high is single digits...it's just not happy!! I hope it stays there so we don't have ice in the morning. Winter isn't even here and I'm sick of it!

Princess and the Frog is a good movie...cute.

Hi Ladies

It was very cold here last week and it was not very nice today, but by this time of year, we are normally pretty cold. I was surprised to see how low the gas bill was for the month. I thought it would be higher. But I am sure the next one will be a lot larger. to stay warm.

I have been busy at work this week, so that feels good again!

MKY - how is the itinerary coming for March? I have not worked on mine all week.

EE22 - be careful driving. Mazda versus bus never ends will if it is a tie so be glad you lost.

Tomar - go slow so you don't wear yourself out.

TP2 - how is DD doing?

Candi: DD is doing better. They said give all the meds 2 weeks to fully kick in and tomorrow is that point. Yesterday she was full of energy and happy. Two things we are happy to see from her. Thanks for asking.
Glad to hear the new job is going well. That is always a good thing.

I have an appt. with the allergist on Thursday...I am still congested, but I attribute that to the....Winter ....ick !
Our temp. is supposed to go down to 18 degrees tonight....Oh JOY !!...

I hear ya Loud and clear about the NON-sleeping TP2 !!
Yes....Ive been doing some planning while I was sick...and YES...Im Hopeing for a "Tomar Clan" gathering .....if It happens ..Mr. Tomar and I will be in our Glory with the Princess and the New Prince coming soon ...unfortunately, we can`t write things in stone just yet for DS and DDIL and the kiddos (as you know from being such a wonderul "Mom" , unforseen things happen)......BUT... Mr. Tomar and I are going .....for SURE ...Id love to take the Princess with us, even if the baby can`t come....but my DS and DDIL want to be there when she sees the castle for the first time...I don`t blame them...Im teary eyed just thinking about it
It almost happened last summer...but DS had to finish up a construction job, and couldn`t get away....Hense they came up to New Jersey in Sept.
How is the Prep for the "Big" day going at the TP2 house ???

Hiya everyone,

Also frozen here. This weather just wears you out. I feel I could stay in bed for a week. Not sick, just it takes so much out of you putting on 10 layers.

Hope your all feeling better. Take it easy Tomar. So looks like your planning boardwalk not SSr for June 10? I read, you just watched bolt on cable and I have it on right now, too. You can't go wrong with a german shepherd.

Candi, no I haven't done anything for march in a while. I have not gotten TGM for a couple of trips now. So just winging it on our own. Will probably get busy after the holiday's. Glad the job is working out.

TP2, glad DD is coming around. Hope she feels all better soon.

EE22, Glad you got to see princess and frog. We haven't seen anything since New Moon. Hope it warms up here quick. Is it spring yet??

MKY - which days are you going again? I think it is a couple days after us but I can't remember.

It is cold here too. The new company is in a more open area and my car is getting soooo dirty. I am thinking of buying a 90 day car wash pass. You can wash your car everyday for 90 days if you like but I am afraid it will be frozen solid if I do.

I hope everyone is getting closer to being ready for Christmas!

OMG....We`re in a ....Blizzard today !!!!
AND.....I went to the Dr. on thursday....I still have a Broncial Infection ...so he put me on Prednisone again !!...
Snow.....and....Prednisone ! YIKES !!
