Well...I got everything except for Mickeys Backyard BBQ. That is fine with me, the BBQ was just one of those things. Maybe I will squeeze in the Luau but I am still not sure the kids will enjoy it. Gotta get em going for school but wanted to check back in.

Good for you TP2!! :woohoo:

We leave in 30 minutes. Somehow I survived the day:confused3

TP2 - Singular is every day for the first couple of weeks, then you can take it as needed.

I use it and DD13 has been on it for allergies. I really like it. It does not make you drowsy and I have not seen any of the side affects. You might want to talk to the doctor more about it.

By taking it for my allergies, I have less trouble with my Asthma but mine is not nearly as bad. But I do like the drug a lot more than others I have tried.

I am sure time will fly for us as well. Like any habit, it takes time to kick it and I have been a heavy user of vacation planning for over a year now. :lmao:

Hiya everyone:banana:

EE22, Fingers crossed here! Good luck to the EE22 children!:cheer2::dance3::cheer2: Enjoy the des moines hotel scene. Its a mini vacation!:thumbsup2

TP2, Yeah!!! Congrat's to you on your adr's. :woohoo: Remember during free dining the resturant's are packed, so you did really good. I have been on singulair for 2 years now, daily. This spring, I finally noticed a big difference. Our lilac's blumed and my nose was not a facuet. I felt alot better. Since my allergies didn't take off > it kept my asthma in check. I know, most pediatricians are pushing it on all our asthma patients. It is actually in our asthma protocol. I know, it is scary. You never know, in a few years they will come out and say it causes some terrible side effects or diseases. Since I come in season, at the start of each season here, I've had to take it daily. But, it did take 2 years to really get the full benefit from it. I guess, I would judge it on how bad the allergies and asthma are. It is not for the treatment of an attack. It is a preventive drug.

Candi, something wrong with that picture. You work in the auto industry aren't you suppose to be driving everywhere?;) It was beauitful here too. 86 when I got out of work. :wizard: Your next trip will be here before you know it. Last year, we went only once. But that saved 2 weeks of extra vacation time for this year. :woohoo: And not to mention the extra $$$ I saved.

Tomar, hoping your feeling better. Good luck at the ear md.

MKY - :lmao: time will drive by :lmao: I hope it gets a speeding ticket :lmao:

I had to take my car into the shop today for an engine noise. My dealership is closed (thanks to GM killing the Pontiac line) and so I had to go to another one. I hate having to break in a new service advisor.

Once I got checked in and was heading to the shuttle, guess who walks in but my advisor from the other dealership. :cloud9: I was so happy to see him! :cloud9:

Tomar - I get the dizzyness at times too and it can be hard when you are so busy. Take care.

Hi Guys !!:goodvibes

51 more days for us !!!! WHOO HOOO :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
Im starting to set excited !!!!! :yay:

Hiya everyone

Tomar, We have never tried the bistro. Bug, doesn't like the menu. Its a bit over the top for us. Must be a pretty room thou. The adult theme is an entertaining idea. Be careful with the ear. You could have an inner ear infection, or clogged up wax. They screw with your equilibrium. Might be sinus related too. Might want to try the gross idea of a sinus flush. I was teaching it at work today, to a teen patient. She said, "felt like jumping into a pool of water". But it does help with all those conditions. Hope you feel better & take care of your allergies.

You guys got me all excited too. We are at 54 days! I think.:confused3;)

mky:cutie:

Tomar: Hope you start feeling better. Just brought DD10 in for a sinus infection from allergies. They gave her Nasacort, and inhaler, antibiotics, and want to start her on Singulair. I said no to the Singulair. The inhaler and Nasacort are as needed, Singulair is everyday so I want to put that off for now.

TP2- sorry about DD10...tell her that, She and Mrs. Tomar have the same thing.....:rolleyes1......Hope the princess is feeling better soon !!princess:
Congrats on makeing your ADR`s !!:flower3:...Your Family is (like I say each year)...OFFICIALLY DUELY NOTED IN THE LOG BOOKS OF UNCLE WALTS DINING GUESTS for 2009 !!! ;) :goodvibes :yay:

EE22- GOOD LUCK TO THE KIDDOS !!!!!!
HOPE THEY ARE ROCKING THE MEET TODAY !!:cool1::banana::cool1::banana::cool1:

Candi- Glad you got your car to a place where a familiar face will be taking care of it !!
Im feeling better with the dizzyness now....I had a bad Sinus and Broncitis infection.......I knew it was the inevediable ..:upsidedow

Hiya everyone,

EE22, Yeah! So happy they did great! They can relax a little now. Enjoy your long weekend, you all deserve it. And Congratulations again!

Tomar, Oh yeah. When you see that courthouse on tv, with peterson that is in my city. We are becoming a crime capital. They just found a body in the river yesterday, probably his 4th wife.:sad2: He so far, is going to trial on #3.

Hope everyone has a great long weekend! Its 78 here now and beauitful!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND EVERYONE !! :grouphug:

EE22: Congrats on State. So exciting.:cloud9: I bet you are happy to be home. I know I need this weekend to just relax, I bet you do to.

Tomar: Glad to hear you are starting to feel better. We are all getting so close to our vacations. I think we all need it this year.

MKY: You can't miss the stories about Drew Peterson here either. It is really amazing he got away with it for so long and so many times.:scared1:

So I called back and got everything we wanted, even Mickeys Backyard BBQ. Got Le Cellier for 6:00pm. Just gonna call again on Sunday for Chef Mickeys on our last day. I was shocked because with free dining, I thought it would be very difficult. Biggest problem with their computers going down. I think it was good that I changed our dates. People who called in on Monday were being disconnected in the middle and all ADR's were lost. Hold times were crazy. I got through right away and got everything I wanted. Very lucky. Maybe this will be a good trip for us. Still need my airplane ticket. Have everyone elses, just waiting on mine. Patience, patience, patience!

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone :goodvibes

It's been an interesting couple of weeks in our household :rolleyes1

As many of you know the plant DF worked at for 20 some years closed last summer :sad1: He found a position at another plant and was back working - then yesterday he got the news.... the plant lost a major contract and he and many others were laid off :sad2: He is subject to call back but really is not sure what to do. He is such a hard worker and to have one blow after another is so hard for him. Thankfully he has benefits from the plant that closed so he has some time to decide what to do.

We are going ahead with the WDW plans though as DF does not do WDW. But... I just found out that DS's school starts the week we planned to be gone. Now we are rethinking the date of the trip (still want to go over his b-day) but not sure which days. I think we will end up being between the current promotions so I'm hoping for a general or AP code :wizard: The other option would be to go in July as we would normally and then a quick weekend trip for his b-day.

Need to make decisions soon. I'm very thankful that I have a good job and that mom likes to travel to WDW. And very hopeful that DF will find the job security that he and so many others need :wizard:

Hey Ladies:wave2: So I actually have a Disney related question. We have always filled our days by the pool and in the parks but I have gathered quite a few points this year on my DV card and I think I can add another "experience" outside of the usual stuff. So far I have BBB, and Wonderland Tea Party. I booked 2 dinner shows. But is there something else that I can plan that will be special. We can add the water park tickets but that may be too much, our days seem kind of busy at this point. But something for a night or afternoon would be perfect. The Perfectly Princess Tea, although it sounds amazing, is way out of the budget with 3 girls so I guess I am looking for something in the $150 range. Can't wait to hear your ideas.popcorn::

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

hiya everyone:banana:

Tomar, I think Illinois has rules against court tv, but they keep sitting out in front of there anyway. He is such a celebrity. :rotfl: Our X-governors wife is supposed to be on a reality show starting soon. We they go into the forest? He was supposed to, but she took his place. They won't let him out of the country. :rolleyes1

TP2, Hmmmmmmm, Not sure what else you could add? You've got great meals and full days. If I had better luck, I would say disneyflorist to do something special >> but I found out the hard way ** it is soooooo over rated*** and not worth anything. Have you tried renting a pontoon on one of the lakes? You could all easily fit, and if you can drive, you can steer a boat. No experience needed. Or, we are big fans of mini golf at the disney mini golf places. Good work on all you adr's and plans thou.:thumbsup2

Minnie, Hope everything works out. Hang in there.

EE22, Get some rest for your return to school. Your in the final stretch now. :woohoo:

Hope everyone has a great weekend. :dance3: mky:cutie:

Happy Memorial Weekend everyone.

TP2 - I sounds like you have a great trip planned. I agree with MKY that the mini golf is fun.

I made the kids clean out the basement yesterday. We hauled everything outside and cleaned the basement and sorted a bunch of stuff. We did not get finished in one day like they do on Clean Sweep, but we made good progress.

We worked a bit more today but still have a bunch of stuff to go through. As much as I hate yard sales, I think we are going to have one.

What is everyone doing for fun this long weekend?

You might consider an Illumination Cruise. Normally this can be expensive but if you share a cruise with another family it's within the price range you listed. We did this last year for my mom's birthday and it was wonderful :cloud9: If you are interested check out the theme park board for the thread on sharing Illumination cruises :thumbsup2

Minnie, Hope everything works out. Hang in there.

Thank you :goodvibes DF said he dreamed last night that he was called back to work. I think he may be taking this harder than I originally thought :guilty:

Minnie: Thats a great idea. I am going to look into sharing a cruise.

Good luck with DF. I know this is a tough time for so many people. Very frustrating.

Candi: I cleaned out the closets this weekend. Can't believe how much stuff was stuffed in there. Happy to have the extra space now.

I wound up booking the Grand Floridain Tea for me and the girls and sending DH for a massage. Not sure if the girls are too young though so I may still look for something else.

MKY: We did mini golf in 2007 and they loved it. Very relaxing day, good memories, not crowded. They want to do it again. Our days are pretty full at this point. No time for sleep or relaxing but it should be a lot of fun. Can't wait. I feel like I can taste it now we are getting so close.

I hope everything works out Minnie. The man across the street lost his job and he had worked there for 19 years:guilty:

TP2...we shared a cruise once. It worked out well. DD and I are doing the tea at the Grand. Keys to the Kingdom too, but she had to be 16 to do that. No other ideas really. I wouldn't find TL relaxing either with the ages of your girls either. Just the opposite.

Funny...I hate mini golf:rotfl:I find it very annoying...I'm not sure why. Maybe I just played way too much back in Michigan each summer I'm not sure why:confused3

Hi, ladies. I hope I'm not intruding on you group. I apologize if I am and this is for all the ladies seem to be on this thread.

We have a trip planned starting on the 10th of August, Myself, Hubby and four-year-old son. We plan on staying for five nights at CBR and leaving a day open just in case we want to do something else. After that, we are checking out of Disney and going to another hotel for three days to do both Universal Parks and Sea World. I guess I'm just wanting some thoughts on the ADRs I have. Luckily, I was able to get the times I asked for but without knowing too much about what might be going on in the parks around that time, not sure if it was that great but we're sticking to it now. (We got out tickets on the military salute offer, I'm active duty and DH is retired, so it was a good deal with the hotel being 40% off as well) Thanks for all the advice ahead of time.

Mon - MK, Crystal Palace Dinner
Tues - HS, Hollywood and Vine Character lunch buffet. (I also have Mama Melrose for dinner but I think we are cancelling that as I don't want to do more than one table service as part of our DDP)
Wed - AK, dinner at Whispering Canyon (I actually tried to get dinner ressie for Le Cellier but was only able to get it for lunch. After much thought, thought that might not be the most convenient since AK isn't open very late...probably going to keep Whispering Canyon and cancelling Le Cellier). Also, I think after dinner we are going to go over to the campfire if we have time or go back to MK.
Thurs - Typhoon Lagoon. Chief Mickey's for dinner.
Fri - Epcot, Teppan Edo for dinner.

Sat - If we feel like there is more Disney we need to do, then we will do whatever that is on Saturday. Other than that, we are off to the other parks.

Any thoughts to throw at me from this plan? Thanks.

Deb
