VMK: Good luck to you with everything. I just had my 20 year high school reunion and saw an old friend of mine that I used to run into at my OB office. She just had triplets, so hang in there.:thumbsup2 I do understand though that the waiting can sometimes be the hardest.

EE22: I know what you mean about the ugly shoes. My dad has diabetes and his shoes have gotten pretty funny looking too.:rotfl2: I have to say that with having to get dressed this weekend to go to my reunion, I was miserable. The whole car ride there I just kept wishing for my comfortable clothes and shoes. I wear my sneakers and flip flops all the time.

I would love to buy into DVC. Last night we got all the kids to bed early and we were up watching TV. A commercial came on for WDW and he joked with me and said, "Oh, I can't wait to be there!". He thinks he is funny.

So happy DS is back from camp. I am sure you can sleep better now. This is our mid point for the summer. I can't believe how fast it is going. We have been so busy we are going to need this vacation to just relax and hang back a bit. We have had something everyday of the weekend all summer. No time to do things that we WANT to do, if you know what I mean. At least at WDW we can make our own plans. We have a few pools days planned and I am looking forward to them.

I'm way beyond mid point of summer.:scared1:
I only have two weeks left and I'll be busy running kids everywhere...it's wild this week.

I was up at work on Sunday for 4 hours and will need another 8-10 to finish. I'm going Thursday night when DS is at school football camp and DD and DH are at bball camp.

The school is an absolute pit by my room and my room is DIRTY!! the new math rooms are done, but I don't like them...no carpet and we can't put stuff on the walls. No thanks! I'll take no air over that.

I kicked butt on stuff yesterday and finished almost all the paper work part of the start of the year. I have a couple tasks to finish and I want to make a new semester review for one of my classes. It's second semester, but I want it done and over with!!

It scares me that we have 3 new math teachers this year!!

I have to start though to get to next summer so bring it on:woohoo:

Hiya everyone,

Chloe, glad its going well, hang in there.

TP2, you make me so excited! We are getting close! The kids must be packed already.

Tomar, hope your having a great time!

EE22, Sounds like your year should fly by, your almost all ready. Yeah:yay: you got all your days. Now you need to start looking at car prices or airfare?
OK, its a little early?

Worked all weekend, and exhausted carrying around the boot. Today, I went in and the hospital said "you can't work with that". So I am off now till we come back.
The plan, really is to wear this for a month and hopefully it will heal (better than it has so far) and that should be it. If its not better in 2 weeks, I am suppose to get a shot in the heel. Which, so far i think it is going better so not planning on any shots.

Well, going to check out car deals and see it they are any better. You guys have a great day.

mky:cutie:

I take provera. But, I take it all the time and I use to take 30 mg, but the doc cut me back to 20 mg daily when I saw him last month because I was complaining about my weight. So far, it seems to be working for me although my weight isn't working for me.

Yeah, it does have other uses. But it's not a birth control.. a lot of people confuse it with depo provera the birth control.

VMK Princess Chloe, this is my first time on this thread but happened to see your post. Hang in there! Did the Provera, Clomid and eventually IVF cycle. We have 2 sons. Praying for ya! :thumbsup2

thank you, it's always good to meet someone else who's been there and been successful!

:teacher: I finished my semester review...took me 3 hours.:headache: but I'm glad I'm done.

14 days till I go back:hourglass
where has the time gone??

This is good except the lack of $$ but your foot will get a lot of rest for your trip:woohoo:

EE22, it's ok, thankfully > sick time covers it. I have 8 weeks built up, and then if needed short term disability > long term disability. So should be ok.
WOW, you only have 14 days left? We have 16 till wdw. leaving aug 15th, so you go back aug 13th? isn't that early? or do teachers go back way early? Think around here that they go back last week aug.

MKY: I am so glad to hear that you are on leave. Hopefully you can rest up and enjoy your trip.

EE22: I can't believe you go back so early but I guess it is still the standard 10 weeks, right? I remember you being off for Memorial Day so I think you just run different than us. So happy to hear you got that review done. It is like having to write out thank you cards for all the things the girls get. I always feel like I have something hanging over my head and when I finally get the time to write them out and mail them I am so releaved.

Question...Anyone do Mickeys Backyard BBQ? I never thought of it before. I always thought it would be really hot in the summer and make for a miserable night but I called about adding an ADR for the night of P&P to get into MK at 4:00pm. I spoke with someone from GS and they said that we did not need an ADR, everyone can get in at that time. I then spoke with him about going to P&P twice and he suggested going to the BBQ instead. It is kind of pricy though and I have not read many reviews. I guess I am mainly wondering how long it lasts. I don't want to spend all that money for something that will only fill 1 hour. I would rather add a park day. I would love to hear any comments on it.

Glad to hear you won't be missing any Disney bucks:rotfl:

Yup...the 13th for our new staff members and 14th officially. The party is over. It's been pushed back a week over the years. When DS was born August 17th, we had a few days off still and then workshop.

We are done though May 30th this year:woohoo: that I like!!

The school is an absolute diaster area though. They are no where near being done with construction and it's a pit. Nothing has been cleaned. The areas aren't even finished. We put up with this all last year and it's not over. Two of the main areas are right by my room too and I'm sick of it!!:sad2:

We were done the Friday after Memorial Day...we were into finals that week which was nice.:cheer2:

My friend who leaves on Aug 4th has done the BBQ and loves it. I don't know how long it lasts, but I don't think it would be as fun as a park day. I've never been though.

MKY: I also found out what a school nurse makes. 15 years of experience (that's as far as the scale goes in our contract) is $37,000. Starting salary is chicken feed obviously.

EE22, I can see that I won't be moving to iowa to work as a school nurse anytime soon.;) Good luck, with the construction, that is alot to go through. our hospital has been "redoing" everything for the last 10 years, and now we have a major "new" building going up in the back, to double the size of our hospital. just the parking lot changes are enough to drive me crazy. One week, peds and picu are moving into the new building and the next week, no your staying in the little hole you have. Last i heard we where back in. The "womens" and birthing areas with the nicu are all over there so makes sense to move us closer since we share MD's but we are still not secure. Now they said the new building would be about 5 to 7 years but from the look of it, i am guessing 2? They even got a big name developer / contractor out of chicago to come down here.

:hourglass ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo :hourglass 14 days!

TP2, how many days?

and Mouseaddict's should be right behind?

Enjoy the heat, it is cooking here at present. 94* I need to do somthing productive. :laundy: mky:cutie:

MKY: Did you get an Alamo mailing about last minute deals. I just got one in my inbox.

EE22, Thanks for the email.;) but yes, i got it too. The dates are early aug to the 14th. We start on the 15th, so does not apply to my time frame. Thanks, again for looking.:thumbsup2 mky:cutie:

No problem. I have the fever!!:lmao:
it's way too early for me!!
oh well...my time will come soon enough. I have to suffer first though:rotfl:

EE22: I decided not to do the BBQ. The price would be over $150 for us to eat dinner and from what I read the whole experience is only 1 hour. I would rather pay the $220 and have a full park day. Or for the same $150 do the P&P party. Have to make a decision about that though. Need to decide before we arrive.

Sorry you go back so soon. I feel ours is flying by too. We have been so busy. I just want to get to a point where we can relax and enjoy ourselves a bit.

MKY: Hope you are relaxing and making that foot heal. We only have 19 days. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I can't believe it. I think you leave a week before us but you are there after we leave.

Mouseaddicts: When are you going back? I know that we miss you but I am not sure by how much.

I think I know have everything we need. Just found a small can of Lysol so now I am set.

Hiya everyone!

TP2, that is alot for the BBQ. I think there is better things there to do for that much. Only 1 hr, way too short. I know the whole thing is outside in the heat too, so that does not sound like a good time.

Sis and I discussed taking the boat over to FW and trying there buffet / resturant that sounded a little different. Maybe ride a bike around, but not sure that is still possible.

Tomar, sounds like they are having alot of rain down there. Hope it is better than they are letting on the weather channel. I know sometimes it would pour at one park and not the other. :confused3

Attempted to do some cleaning today, and really got worn out. This is like wearing leg weights. And I am not that much into exercise, to start with.:rotfl: > But building up that disney stamina :yay:

13:yay: days!:hourglass :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :smickey: :hourglass

mky:cutie:

MKY: I am getting so excited too. I think I may start to iron tonight. The girls have so many dresses that they want to wear. I went through the luggage today and all that I have bought so far. I am so glad that I am not buying anything new or fun for the kids because our room is so small. I had to put things back like crazy. I bought some things like 3 times and each time I bought enough for all 3 kids so I have way too much stuff.:rolleyes1

What date are you leaving? Sounds like you only leave a couple of days before me. I thought you were like 2 weeks ahead.

TP2, good plan to start ironing early. I still have to switch all my summer stuff from the winter stuff.:scared1: Then, I can start washing it and ironing. So far, I have the same new (2) shorts that i have been wearing with a few t-shirts I did pull out, since may.

We leave on the wed. the 15th! :yay: Limo due at 12 noon. With the construction here we are going to ohare, about 5 hours early.:confused3
:cutie: mky

MKY: We left on the 15th last year. I just looked at the calendar and we are so busy. I am trying to keep the week before we leave free so we can relax a bit before we go. I am getting so excited now. Can hardly wait.
